Jacen staggered forward, confused. He looked around, attempting to use the Force to see if this was yet another of Lumiya's illusions. He had been on that asteroid, caught between his own allegiance to the Jedi, and the temptations that Lumiya had offered him as Dark Lord of the Sith. He had been trapped between Nelani and Lumiya, Jedi and Sith. He had not yet made his choice.

But now, things were far more confusing. Rather than a dark side infused asteroid, he appeared to be in a city. A very primitive city, if the poor construction materials were any indication. More disturbing that the disorienting change in location was the unnatural darkness. There did not seem to be any sun. The rain pelted his face and hissed as it came in contact with his still-ignited lightsaber. Pulling the hood of his cloak up to shield his eyes from the water, he looked around, maintaining his calm, trying to assess the who and the what before he figured out the why.

( And even though Severus had spent a good many years spying on the Dark Lord, with his very life on the line during each meeting, he couldn't remember ever feeling as frightened as he did right now. )
