Who: Charlie McGee and Lucifer What: A meeting When: Around 9PM Where: The Lux Rating: TBD Status: In Progress
The Senior Partners, Charlie was starting to think, knew her a little too well. When she'd received her instructions to speak with Lucifer of all things, the first thought she'd entertained had been the fact that she wasn't certain how to do such a thing. Shortly afterward, instructions had arrived. And, about the time she was commenting that she was certain just showing up wouldn't make a very good impression, her appointment time also appeared.
It was with a heavy sigh - and not much lighter heart - that Charlie realized she really had no choice with this one.
The next issue was what she should wear. She'd been informed of the meeting with a scant two hours to prepare and, while Charlie was hardly what one might consider a 'girly girl', she did want to dress appropriately. Apparently, however, her employers had taken that into consideration as well. A package arrived, with several dresses for her to choose from, but all bearing a similar enough style.
She eventually chose a simple red number if only to go with her favorite color, and one she looked good wearing. Her hair was curled slightly, the ringlets bouncing two and fro and giving the over-all outfit a carefree sort of appeal while also dressy enough for the occassion. And, although Charlie was hardly the type to sport a dress very often, she had to admit she did look good. A fact which was proven by the looks she received as she exited her building.
The firm had sent a limo to drive her to her location and she arrived at a few minutes before nine. She felt exposed without her leather jacket as she stepped from the vehicle and moved toward the door, but was grateful for the heads-up about attire, given she fit in much better with those around her with what she was wearing.
The man (she assumed he was a man, at least) waiting for her promptly took her to what she assumed was Lucifer's office. As the door opened and she stepped inside, she could only assume that this was going to be one very interesting meeting.
