Where: L.A. streets.

After hearing about how the city seemed to be more ridden with villains than New York itself had been, Peter decided that it was high time that he put his suit back on and took some action. He had already taken down a few small vampire gangs (to which, he soon discovered, were more easily defeated when dusted than thrown into his usual criminal catch of the day web), but it hardly seemed as though he was doing enough. Because no matter where he went, who he stopped, or what he did, there always seemed to be news of someone getting hurt or robbed or something just as horrible. It bothered him that he couldn't get to every crime scene in time, but he understood that he couldn't do it all by himself.
But he could try to help all the same. And that was why he was silently crawling his way down the side of a building, watching as multiple figures slowly crept their way down the street below him toward an innocent couple walking toward their car. He counted five, six, seven - twelve vampires in all. But there could have been more hiding away somewhere. They all moved quickly until, finally, one of the vampires signaled for them to attack. And, oh, they did.
They didn't get close enough to harm anyone though. In that moment, Spider-Man flung himself from the wall and leapt down in front of the horrified couple. "Get out of here," he shouted over his shoulder, head swinging to the side just as the first vampire hurled a punch at his face.
