(eh...better late than never, right?)
Sylar followed suit of his two hosts, and sat himself in the chair across from the two of them. For a moment he debated how exactly to compose himself in the seat - he was not used to being in the presence of such classy people, after all. After a couple seconds, though, he decided it didn't matter. He now had their attention, and so no longer had to pretend to be anything but what he was. They knew he was here to discuss business, after all, and discuss they would.
Sylar leaned forward in his seat, and addressed the both of them. "It sounds like we're in agreement. There might be one or two others from that meeting who people like us could perhaps place our trust in...but all of them? No thanks. I'd rather take my chances walking into the Hyperion all by myself...which, I guess, brings me to why I'm here. I don't really know the particulars of everyone's deal with Wolfram & Hart, nor do I want to. But, if you're like me, I can only assume they came to you and offered you something you need. For me, there is something...someone...in this city that I...well, let's just say need to have a 'talk' with. And, wouldn't you know it, that person just happens to be staying at the Hyperion.
"I'm sure it's not a coincidence...I doubt Wolfram & Hart deal in those. They know all the right buttons to push, and therefore knew that I would be obligated to join their little mission. So, yes, although I've always been something of a loner in the past, I find myself very open to the idea of going after this Angel Investigations. But, if I do so, I want to make sure I'm doing so alongside worthy allies. Out of everyone at that meeting, I believe you two fit the bill. So, I offer an alliance, a partnership, whatever you want to call it. These senior partners brought everyone together to do their dirty work, and as long as it benefits me, I'm OK with it. But I say why should we trust everyone we met the other night? Perhaps just us, maybe a few of the others, together, could make a mark on not only those staying at that hotel, but on the whole city...hell, this whole world."
As he said that last part, he allowed a wide, satisfied grin to stretch across his face. He leaned back in his chair, and waited for a response. He knew they would still want to know what he had to offer - would probably want more details on just who and what it was he wanted at the Hyperion. He was willing to give all this, but for the moment, he needed to see if they were at least intrigued by the ideas he had just thrown out.
