Charlie had been mostly silent during the arrival of the others. She knew a good many of them either through direct interaction or by proxy through their dealings with Lindsey. Truth be told, most of them freaked her out.
It wasn't that she didn't have her own power. She did. She may not be at the same level of some of the others, but she was one of the few in the room who could walk away from a nuclear explosion without a scratch on her. That gave her some comfort, along with the knowledge that the Senior Partners had guaranteed the room would be magically warded to prevent any permanent harm from coming to her while she acted as their representative. So she was as safe as she could be, given the company. But that didn't mean she was particularly happy about it.
At the entrance of Vader himself, the small blonde went still. Her attention immediately shot to him and, were it not for the years she'd spent learning to control her emotions, her jaw may have fallen open when he addressed her. As it was, she managed to keep her external calm and gave a small nod of her head.
"You'd be correct, Lord Vader. Welcome," she replied, her voice steady and seemingly unassuming. There were some here who knew what she could do, and others who didn't. She wasn't going to make them realize she was anything more than an apparent flunkie if she didn't have to. The element of surprise was always a good one to have.
Sliding off the table, Charlie gazed briefly around the room once more. So much power in one small space. It was a recipe for disaster and it was her job to keep that disaster from taking place. She figured if she had to start somewhere, Vader - quite possibly the most powerful in the room - was a good place to do it.
