Once Arthur was off changing, Remy turned to Elisabeth. He had heard the urgency in her telepathic message, and knew there was no point in trying to change her mind on this one. Besides, he didn't really see any reason her mind should be changed. Outside in a hurricane was certainly no place for a young boy. And as for returning to Luthor...well, all Remy knew of Luthor was what he had heard in small pieces from Elisabeth, during some of the late night chats they had shared since moving in together. From the sounds of things, he could see why this alternative didn't seem very appealing to her, either.
"I ain't got no problem lettin' de boy stay," Remy told her, and it was true. You don't spend years living at the X-Mansion and not get used to living with children, after all. In their home world, both Remy and Elisabeth had even been teachers at the mansion, so a small part of Remy welcomed the idea of revisiting what had once been a normal routine.
"But," he said, "it don't sound like he has it in his head to stay. We can't just lock up de kid, Lis'beth. You got a suggestion?"
