Who: Cimorene and Willow to start Where: The Hyperion Hotel When: Mid morning What: Rescue mission Rating: PG-13 for magic and snake death? Status: Incomplete
As soon as she’d found out where Willow was, Cimorene jumped up and grabbed her sword. There was no harm in being prepared, and so she tossed some dried fennel in the air and recited the couplet needed to protect her from fire, just in case she got out of hand roasting snakes. Once she was ready, which took very little time at all, she left her room and strode off down the hall, wrapping her waist-length braid around her head like a crown, to keep it out of the way.
Taking the steps two at a time, as she didn’t trust the elevators in the slightest, Cimorene held her skirts high to avoid tripping. Pushing open the door, she jumped back immediately when a snake snapped at her ankles. “Oh no you don’t!” she cried, and with a point of her finger and a muttered verse, the snake was reduced to ash. Pulling out her sword, she set off down the hall, cutting down two more snakes on her way before she reached Willow’s door. “Willow?” she called, knocking before pushing open the door. “Are you alright?”
