It was very early morning as Morgana made her way down the sidewalk. She shifted the bag on her shoulder carrying books from the library where she worked. Worked. A word one would never have thought to applied to the King's ward but she liked her job. She enjoyed the people that she worked with and she liked that it was filled with books that she could take back to the Welcome Center whenever she wanted. She had an income and was forming savings. And quite honestly, with all these words she never would have considered having applied to herself, she was managing to love it here. Even all of it's strangeness seemed tamed compared to the creatures that seemed to like to make themselves known in Camelot on a regular basis. Camelot ... Camelot already seemed like a life time away. She did miss certain things. Tiny things. That would bring a pang to her heart. And of course, she missed her father. Less than she would have if she hadn't seen him with the apparitions appeared. She missed Camelot but never enough to have it hinder on forming a life here. She was considering it. And she was looking forward to it.
At the moment she was looking forward to the new set of books that would be coming in this week. It was why she was heading in an hour earlier as she had been for the past week and a few days. New series, new books, and new copies of old books to replace the ripped and crumbling ones that they already had on shelf. There were things to move around, to throw away, and perhaps when she caught a few hours to herself, a new selection to choose from to bring back with her when the day was over. She had centuries to catch up on.
Instead of going through the front door. Morgana veered off the sidewalk onto a wide beaten path that lead to the side door. She was a bit earlier than usual. The trucks hadn't arrived yet and this is where the books would be coming in. She was responsible for taking inventory, making sure that everything that they ordered was there even before it made it all the way inside. It was her day to open up today for that. As it had been the same day last week.
She barely had a chance to pull out the keys when ... things just went black.

When Morgana came to she was sitting in a chair. None of her bags were with her. And the room was empty except for herself. Or so she thought. Because despite the fuzziness in her head, Morgana pushed out of the chair and made for the door. It didn't quite click to go for the phone first because that wasn't her natural instincts. Phones were still a novelty. Her instinct was to get out and get out quick. Once her eyes realized that this wasn't a place that she had ever been to before, even as her mind fought to keep up. However, the minute she went for the door, it was opened and in walked a woman. And behind her three men carrying those ... gun things that she had looked up once she had seen it mentioned in a comment to Gwen's post.
Fear slicked up her chest and into her throat, yet she raised her head, shoulders going back slightly. Bearing very much, in every inch, a Lady. And she demanded, "Where am I? What do you want with me? How dare you take me against my will! Do you know -" It had been as automatic as her instinct to leave had been. Who she was meant nothing here. Being Uther's ward meant nothing here. However, one thing held true. "When my brother finds out that I'm missing, you're all going to be very sorry."
She really wish she had a ... she didn't know what but she was quite easily in a foul mood. Worried for herself. Worried for Arthur ... he really would search for her and what the hell would he do against a gun? And quite irritated about the fact that no matter what time she was in there would always seem to be people who thought it a good idea to hold her hostage.
