They'd followed her all through the library, and quite frankly, had been bored to tears. Though communication was silent, they were all thinking the same thing. How the hell did she spend that much time in the building? The hours had gone on far to long for them, and some of them were starting to get slopping.
Until she went on the move, and everyone snapped awake again. This would be it. The witch. The Doctors were excited about this one. Doctor Katsu in particular was looking forward to getting to know the girl. The men couldn't care less. It was a witch. They had been informed how dangerous witches could be, and that this one was quite powerful.
It didn't take them long to figure out she was heading back to that Hotel. They couldn't let her get that far, because then she'd be in the clear, probably for the night. They were supposed to bring her in tonight to get her processed, introduced to the compound and hopefully comfortable.
There were men positioned all around. Ahead of the girl, behind, and above. Snipers held darts that fired sleep guns, but while others held more deadly weaponry in case of emergencies.
One of the men was leaning against the wall a few blocks ahead of the witch. He had his cell phone out, talking casually to another soldier back at the compound. While he pretended to ignore everyone who passed, he waited for the witch.
