Who: Jack Landors and Black Ops What: Kidnapping! When: during patrols. Where: his route Warnings: TBA, possibly violence? IT'S A KIDNAPPING. XD;
Jack hadn't been patrolling very regularly lately. He needed to get back in the swing of things. So that was exactly what was happening. Maybe then he would start feeling better, and more like himself. Right now he was feeling far from it. He was tired of being left behind all the time. Rangers would show up, and get to go home, and Jack was stuck. Was he actually doing what he was supposed to and that was why he stayed? Or was it a punishment? He even after a year didn't understand how the powers operated, just that they sucked and really deserved a punch in the face. If he ever got the opportunity he would not be holding back. He did love his friends, sure. But he missed his home. It was a big part of who he was.
But for now as it were he was on patrol. That was where his mind needed to be, he needed to stop letting it wander and focus. He was rusty and that could be dangerous, deadly even in his position to let his guard down so much. So he stopped and just for a moment tried his hand at Jedi meditation T.K. had taught him. Clearing his mind as he stood in one place in the middle of the street. Focusing on the task at hand and trying to keep thoughts of Sky out of his head. He felt better telling Faith his secret, somebody knew. It was like a weight off his shoulders. So now he had a chance to move on.
It helped that he didn't have to see Sky, and all at the same time it made things worse. Sky was his partner and would always be but he wasn't alone in the world. He had the Hyperion, and Sam. Jack couldn't get his head on straight. The particular street he was on was usually pretty quiet at night. Not to many cars fortunately for his sake as he stood in it. So he wasn't expecting one to come right at him. Out of nowhere. He heard the sound of a horn and an angry voice, but he didn't have enough time to move. Jack braced himself with his hands infront of his face, and his body phased straight through it. Steel and windows of the vehicle intact, nothing shattered or broke, and Jack was unharmed as the spooked driver drove past at full speed not understanding what just happened. "...That was close." He breathed and watched wide eyed. Looking around to see if anyone else had seen it, he trotted toward the side walk and bent over, his hands on his knees. "First night out in weeks and I nearly get myself run over, nice." He muttered to no one in particular and glared in the direction the car drove off in. "Jerk."
