She stopped when he placed a hand on her arm, frowning a little at him. But when he spoke she shook her head. She didn't mind carrying them, had been doing things for herself since she arrived. It wasn't all that difficult to carry the bags.
"No, it's fine. Thank you for the offer though."
She gave him a little smile, before starting to walk again. If he kept stopping her they would still be out here at night fall. And she wasn't really that willing to be out then.
