He had to trust that his dad would protect Megan and his mom and even Sam to the best of his ability. He had to trust that Sam would watch out for Faith and that he would look after Ben and Claire himself. He'd look after all of them, but he'd bite and claw and fight like hell to keep the three of them together. He'd focus on the three large bills in the money booth, then try to figure out how to get the rest.
"We're here." He said quietly. "We're here for now. Me and you and Ben. I can't get them back yet. I don't know how long I can even keep my own parents here, but I don't want to waste this. I don't want to stop feeling this." It was a hypocrit of a speech, coming from an alcohol lover like Dean, but over time she had changed him too. He went from drinking whiskey with his wheaties every morning to drinking himself to sleep a little early sometimes. It was a big change for Dean, and it gave him insight. It made him want better for his wife.
