"Yes, I'm Sarah, it's nice to finally meet you in person!" she said, trying very hard to reign in the enthusiasm to an acceptable, sane level of friendly greeting. There was the moment of awkward hand twitch that came with remembering that not everyone shook hands in greeting and she didn't want the young woman to thing she was offering her hand to be kissed or something. Very awkward.
"Come on in," she said, waving Guinevere into the lobby itself. "This is the main lobby of the hotel, the front desk is there and the office there," she said, pointing as she spoke. "Most of this area gets used for the day-to-day functions of Angel Investigations, as well as the hotel, as clients come in through this entrance and the teams meet in the lobby for various things."
She turned to face Guinevere. "So, so far you're familiar with computers. What other things have you had a chance to try or use since you've come to L.A. Television? Telephones? Any cooking appliances?"
The question was asked with a great deal of understanding as this wasn't the first person from a time long before modern technology that Sarah had dealt with, and some of them she'd even 'tutored' herself. What Guinevere didn't know, but we need to know to work around the Hyperion, Sarah could teach her.
