She had been lucky enough to be directed toward a place to stay which got her some food and a roof over her head, but apart from that Marian was pretty much down on her luck. She of course only had the white dress, slashed at the side for easy movement, and light white breeches she had for when she was in the Holy Land but apart from that she had barely anything. She managed to keep the simple cloth clean, of course, and that was all that mattered, but she was getting tired of the same thing every day. She had known jobs were the most likely source of income, but she had never worked a day in her life. Yet she still hoped that wandering around the busy stores that she might be able to find something simple enough.
The vehicles here still scared her, and she wondered how people managed to walk about and not be scared by them. After all, they looked rather dangerous. Of course, this only led Marian to stay closer to the building's as she walked and soon a store caught her eye. She didn't exactly have money to buy anything, but she could always take a look and it would get her out of the cold for a moment. Walking in she glanced around, her jaw almost dropping. What on earth was all this?
