"You start comparing me to Travers and we might have to jump to the face punching part of this talk a while earlier than planned," Faith softened the comment with a wry smirk, remembering well what the Council had been like. She wouldn't follow their orders either, they didn't know what it was really like out there, in the dark fighting for life. It was one thing she tried to always keep with her leadership, there was nothing she would ask her team that she wouldn't be prepared to do herself.
And Buffy had a point, when it came down to it, being their leader meant making the tough choices, meant giving the orders and expecting them to be followed. Even when as much as possible she didn't make them all that ordery, as much as she could at least.
"So where does that leave us?" She frowned slightly as she looked at the older Slayer. Because as much as she felt in her gut that the changes were going to happen, she had still worked for nearly two years to get where she was right then. Had sacrificed a lot to get there. And she couldn't walk away, not now. "What are we meant to even do now?"
