WHO: Arthur Pendgragon, Gwen, Morgana WHEN: Same day after this, during the evening. WHAT: Morgana has told then that she has magic. Now they must chat. WHERE: Welcome Center Rating: TBD STATUS: Closed/Incomplete
It was late at night when Morgana entered the Welcome Center. Although she had told Arthur and Gwen that she would spend time searching for a job, which hadn’t been a lie, she had spent most of the evening with Ruby. Learning and talking about magic. It was more difficult to find work than she had thought. Being requested of things such as ID and Social Security. Neither of which she had or understood.
The evening spent with Ruby talking on magic … it, well, it had felt right. Very right. Morgana had for once, for the first time since even finding out that she was a which, felt centered. As if she was exactly where she was supposed to be, doing what she was supposed to be doing.
The other woman had dropped her in her vehicle. Something Morgana had already promised herself that she would learn how to maneuver. On their way from Ruby’s home they’d gone shopping-she loved it-and despite the other woman’s reassurance that she didn’t have to pay her back. Morgana would. Ruby had been so kind to her. She deserved something in return, even if it was just a token of her appreciation.
The first Lady of Camelot walked into the Center with a small smile on herself. All in all it had been a good day. Not that that she’d forgotten the conversation with Gwen and Arthur on the boards. That was something that had been in her thoughts thoughout the day. However, she hadn’t allowed that to ruin it.
This would be for the best. All of it. Being here. They’d see that. Both of them would. Morgana was assured of that. Being here would help them, all four of them. Merlin included. They’d be stronger for it.
She’d be stronger for it, she thought as thought upon Gwen’s promise to protect her no matter what. And Arthur’s insistence that she didn’t leave … it would all work out.
