WHO: Everyone invited to Faith's birthday party! WHAT: Birthday time. :D WHEN: The evening of the 14th. WHERE: The Factory. RATING: TBD.
Of all the places that Sam could have found for a birthday party, it had to be this. A club, designed for the distribution of violence, alcohol, and money. Perhaps The Lux would have been the more ideal choice, but because Faith had friends who were unable to enter the premises Sam had been very against the idea. It was her birthday. Sam wanted for everyone and anyone who Faith considered as family or friend to be allowed to attend. As that was part of his entire "nothing is allowed to go wrong, this is Faith's party and I want it to be perfect" speech he had given everyone involved with the party prior to setting everything up, Sam was sticking to it. He really didn't want everything to go wrong. The person who did anything to screw this party up would live to regret it. In the most non-violent, totally not bordering on evil way possible.
It hadn't been easy, setting the club up to look less like a pit of death and more like the type of place where people would actually want to come and party. The cage that was usually blood stained and filled with swinging fists had been decorated with balloons and streamers, topped off with a very large sign stretching across it from one side to the other that read 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' in large, sparkling gold letters. Inside the cage, there were two large tables pushed to the far right side, covered with chips, mini sandwiches, cookies, popcorn, and various other snacks alongside the traditional birthday cake that was safely tucked away among the other various desserts. Outside of the cage, the pit where everyone gathered to watch the fights had been turned into a dancefloor. From that point onward, one could find plenty of tables scattered across the club area, followed by the bar (of which Sam had managed to deal one of Spike's employees into running for the duration of the evening). If one managed to forget that the place was actually a fight club and ignored the fact that the food was being presented in the middle of a fighting ring, the area actually looked all right. It had taken some cleaning up and hard work between everyone who had agreed to come along and help with the party, but the entire establishment was up and ready to go for an evening of celebration.
That celebrating, of course, couldn't quite start until the woman that the party was for in the first place arrived herself. It was bordering close to nine and everyone had managed to gather into their hiding spots for the moment in which Kennedy would lead Faith through the entrance. Hidden away behind various chairs, tables, and corners, it would be more than simple for any single person walking in without knowledge of what was happening to think that the entire establishment had been abandoned. Yet, as soon as Faith walked in, the signal was given and the traditional leap and yell of "SURPRISE!" was shouted all across the club, bringing forth the beginning of an evening - one that Sam extremely hoped would be - of fun for everyone.
