Who: Tim, Bruce, and mentions of Terry.
What:Returning to his "not" home
When: December 12th, morning
Where: Wayne Manor
Warnings: intense use of Terry's bitchface.
It was morning. Tim knew he probably should have chosen the evening considering how much more of a night person Bruce was. But Bruce had warned him training would be an all day affair, he honestly didn't want to put it off any longer because then it would be harder. Bruce was like that. The more there was stalling, the more he pushed. So Tim didn't waste time getting to the manor and took the lesser of two evils (so he thought), but the second he was inside he regretted it. Terry was sitting in the kitchen watching the door like a hawk with a piece of toast half hanging out of his mouth in a sloppy morning way anxiously awaiting the new arrival as he finished his breakfast the butlers scornfully prepared.
Tim paused. Terry took the toast out of his mouth and swallowed the bit of bread he'd been working at dryly with a hint of an assessing glare. Tim only stared back skeptically. That kid was Batman? He was hardly older than him. Neither boy moved. Between the two it was like an epic Western showdown. First to move lost. Tim folded his arms challengingly, a backpack over his shoulders. Was this his first test? Get past Terry? Honestly it was to early for this. Tim mentally groaned and ran a hand through his black hair. The tension off Terry was thick enough to cut with a knife and heavy enough to give Tim a headache.
Terry was obviously older then him. But acted like a child protecting it's toys. Tim didn't get it but secretly released a breath when Terry finally seemed to lose interest and went back to his breakfast. "..Okay.." Tim said to no one in particular and took his chances walking toward and into the kitchen.
