She'd been here a few days, and during that time she had discovered various places that her shield, sorry, the Blur's shield, but none the less hers as well, all over the place. And it was hers. It was her family crest. In Kara's mind, you had to deserve that crest. She knew it was the twins that were plastering the sign everywhere, it had to be. She didn't like it, but she didn't want to come right out and say 'stop it' because she didn't feel like telling them that she was another 'blur' in the sense that she had all the same powers he did.
Interesting enough, this Clark here could fly. Weird.
Having spent most of the day just exploring the city, doing some tourist things, Kara was content to take the evening easy. She still didn't know where she was going to live. The Bradbury building was probably her best call. It seemed everyone knew who there, and she would be free to be exactly who she was.
The amount of people who did know her here was almost disturbing. She got the feeling that she had mixed times with these people, good and bad. She also got the feeling that she might have hurt them by not remembering. But there wasn't anything she could do about that.
As the sun set, she found herself sitting on the ledge of an office building in a shopping district of LA. In her hand was a vanilla latte, still steaming hot, and it would stay that way as long as she kept keeping it warm.
It was a pretty city. With no luck in finding her people, maybe she should look into a new life here, and be okay with it. At least it was more exciting than Smallville.
