PICTURE OF MURDERER CIRCULATING
By Betty Brathwaite
A picture drawn by Dean Thomas has been circulating around Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and throughout the Ministry of Magic. It is based upon Auror Ron Weasley's eyewitness account of his encounter with the murderer of Penelope Clearwater, who is also suspected of being behind many if not all of the recent killings.
The public is counselled not to approach her, but to instead contact the DMLE immediately.
ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL IN HOGSMEADE
The Autumn Fall Festival in Hogsmeade originated as a celebration of the fall of Gellert Grindelwald, but over the years has come to celebrate the end of fall and preparations for winter. Nevertheless, the roots run strong to this day, and few are allowed to forget what has come before.
All Week The various vendors in Hogsmeade will have special sales and services. A small carnival will be set up in the public quidditch pitch.
Wednesday, November 19 This year's Annual Rummage Sale's proceeds will be going to the Hogsmeade Orphanage. Of special note: Aberforth Dumbledore has donated a number of items formerly belonging to Albus Dumbledore.
Thursday, November 20 This is the day the roots of the festival are most greatly felt. All over Hogsmeade will be storytellers, musicians and actors making presentations on the fall of Grindelwald.
Friday, November 21 The streets of Hogsmeade will be lit up all night to make way for the Fall Masque. Dancing and revelry will abound, and attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite historical wizard.
Saturday, November 22 The festival will culminate with a recreation of the Great Duel between Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore. A special donation has been made by Stanislav Yelchin, an expert in Grindelwald history who has made extensive explorations into Numengard prison, and has donated a pair of wands that are believed to have belonged to Grindelwald and one of his followers.
