POTTER FUNERAL TODAY
By Betty Brathwaite
HOGSMEADE - The wizarding community prepares today to bury Harry Potter.
Potter, who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991 to 1997 (excluding the year of Severus Snape's Headmastership), will be honoured there in the form of a funeral service open to the public taking place at 1 PM. All Hogwarts students have been given the day off in order to pay tribute to Potter, and the Ministry of Magic is allowing all interested employees to have the afternoon off in order to attend.
Any who would like to make donations in Harry Potter's name have been invited to do so to the charity of the individual's choice, at the request of Potter's next of kin.
WEASLEY GIRL ARRESTED
An insider in the Ministry of Magic confirmed that Ginevra Molly Weasley was arrested Sunday, November 2nd for infractions taking place at the residence of Zacharias Smith. No charges were laid, but she was released into the recognizance of her elder brother, and frequent Ministry spokesperson, Percy Ignatius Weasley.
It is rumoured that Weasley intended to exact revenge upon Smith for the murder of Harry Potter, and had managed to do sufficient damage to both Smith and his property that it caught the attention of an Auror who happened to be in the area. Smith is said to have not pressed any charges for the damage, a curious reaction that has this reporter wondering what else may have happened during the exchange.
