April 3rd. Arrival of Spike.
Who?: Spike and Erika.
What?: Spike's arrival to the mansion.
When?: April 3rd, sunset.
Where?: The fountain.
Rating?: Probably PG-13 for Spike's choice of words.
Status? In progress.

Falling. Falling was never comfortable.

Spike had fallen a lot in his time. He had been thrown through windows of extremely tall office buildings, jumped off of bridges, and he'd had his good share of being knocked around in the air by explosions... but nothing had ever felt quite like this.

He was falling, all of his senses could tell him that, but it was less of a pull of gravity, and more of a pull of.. something else.

The platinum blonde vampire finally hit the ground with a thud. He rolled over quickly onto his back and jumped to his feet, instantly dropping into a defensive position. As he observed his new surroundings, Spike dropped his guard and circled the fountain he had landed behind. He layed a hand onto it nervously, just to make sure he was coporeal.

Where were the demons? The dragon? The 100-foot tall giant? Illyria, Gunn, and Angel? The battle was far from over, and it was just getting to the good and bloody part. So, why was he here? How was he here?

He wore his signature leather trench coat, his boots, black jeans, and his plain black t-shirt. A few splatters of various colors of demon blood decorated his attire, and a bit of his own blood was leaking slowly from his busted lip.

He let his eyes wander up to the arches and he instinctively scratched the back of his head.

"Not in bloody Kansas anymore.."

Erika had taken the time to wander around for the day. She had gotten lost twice, not that her sense of direction had ever been the best or anything, she just thought she knew her way around most mansions. After all the ones she had been in always had the same kind of layout. Her map reading skills could use some help. Erika always found herself at the fountain, she had taken about five rounds of the place in each direction, and more...she could have sworn there was a hallway there a minute ago.

Her mind was playing tricks upon her. That had to be it. No, it was the mansion. That was it. She stopped, her eyes going wide before closing. She tilted her head back, breathing in deep and smiled.

Blood.

Erika's bright blue eyes then opened. It was odd blood though. Frowning she strode back toward the fountain, she could always find that bloody thing. It was ghastly, those children's eyes staring out at her all the time, and the bloody angels. They should at least be half naked, any good statue was always half naked. Finally making her way back she eyed the man for a moment.

Then it hit her, he was a vampire. She nearly squealed in excitement. Biting the inside of her cheek she held back the sound. Stepping closer to him she folded her hands in front of her stomach. She was wearing a midnight blue spaghetti string tank top, underneath her usual black lace long sleeved top. Her jeans were a matching dark blue, a black sash-like belt was tied loosely through the belt loops. Her feet sported thick heeled, hog nosed, low built boots.

"I'm afraid not. Kansas is such a god-awful place anyway. Dunno why anyone would want to live there." Erika smiled sweetly at him, stepping closer to him. His lip was bleeding. Slowly she reached out, wondering if he'd let her touch him. Oh he'd been in a fight. Her tongue slid out, dampening her lips as she gently wiped away the blood from his lip with her thumb.

Studying her digit, she licked it clean, her eyes going half lidded as she did so. Finishing she nearly purred, "If you're from there, which I doubt you are from the way you talk, I'd live to go there with that taste." Her eyes flicked back up to his, her smile coming back, "Are there other hurts I should lick?" Her tone had become light again, teasing, as was her nature.

Vampire. He could tell as she strolled up to him. But a different sort. There's something very.. off about this bird.

Spike watched her with a stunned expression as she took the blood off of his lip and tasted it. Suprisingly, he didn't feel repulsed, but he felt drawn to her. His eyebrows scrunched together in complete confusion, and instead of kicking her back like his instincts told him, he backed a few steps away. This was hardly the thing he had been expecting. He had just been in an end-of-the-world type of battle, and all of a sudden he had some vampire broad hitting on him in some sort of a mansion?

"You.. this.." He paused, briefly, to gather his words. He spoke in an angry, desperate tone. "Sorry, love, I have no bleedin' idea where I am, who you are, or..." It hit him. All of a sudden, it hit him. It was so obvious. He pointed a finger at her. "You! You're one of Wolfram and Hart's people, aren't you?!"

Oh he was a pretty thing indeed. She was glad that she was the curious sort and had been out and about to meet him. As he explained himself, Erika's eyes went wide. "How silly of me for not introducing myself." He then went on and her own brows drew together.

If she didn't know any better he was accusing her of something terribly bad. That could only mean that he thought she was part of some kind of lycan horde? "I do not know Wolfram and Hart people. I am Erika, sired by Kraven who...well who I used to think killed the lycan leader Lucian and ended the war between lycans and vampires."

Lifting a shoulder she motioned to the gates and mansion, "This place calls people here, I'm not sure why or how, I just know that it grows and changes and is pretty much living or seems to be. If stone can live." She eyed the gates for a moment, as if she was waiting for them to lick their lips. "What kind of blood is that on you? I have never seen the like, but it is blood. I can feel...life from it, but there's...evil." She took a step toward him, wanting to touch one of the coloured spots.

Spike listened and replied to the new information quietly. "Oh. Oh, well, that's--"

Either this bird's off her rocker, or.. she's from a different dimension. Maybe she lost her memory of Wolfram and Hart. This has to be one of their holding dimensions.

"It's demon." He took a step back from her to match her step foward. He continued to watch her cautiously. "Look. I need to get back. Do I have to climb back up there, then?" He raised his eyes to the gates above, and suddenly felt very small. Maybe there was no going back.

"Demon?" Erika stopped and eyed him. She then giggled, "There are no demons. Humans call us vampires demons sometimes. Most of the time I would assume they mean to call the lycans that." Canting her head a little to the side she watched him. The blood was oddly colored, maybe he was telling the truth?

She bit her lip, looking up with him at the gates. She shook her head, "No, there is no getting out of here that simply." Smiling slightly, "I'm afraid you're stuck here until one of us thinks of a way out." She sighed and lifted a shoulder.

"I was given a map and a key." She moved toward the desk, around the fountain. Picking up the key laying there she looked at it. "Spike?" She smiled, "Interesting, but I don't think that was your first name." With her other hand she picked up the map. "This place changes, so I'd keep this with you whenever you leave your room." Going back to him she held out the map and the key.

She just hoped that somebody would be able to send them back soon, then again, what did she have to go back for? 'Spike' here seemed more man than Kraven, even if he might be a little loose in the head.

"There are demons, pet. And vampires do have a bit of demon in them. Have you never felt it?" He raised an eyebrow at her curiously. She did seem a different sort of a vampire, certainly not one from his dimension.. but was she immune to the whole soul-losing, demon-injecting process that happened when one was turned? Maybe he wouldn't have to kill her after all if this was true. She was sort of growing on him.

Spike took the key and the map, finally accepting what he knew all along, that there was no going back. At least not right now.

"Right. So, you're tellin' me, that I just got sucked out of the most epic apocolyptic battle I've ever been a part of so that I can play house with a load of strangers from who-knows-where?!" He paused briefly. "How many are here?"

Lips pursing in an almost pout-like stance, Erika shrugged her shoulders. She thought about the difference between her vampire self and her old human self. Really, she couldn't remember that much of a difference. Other than the aversion to light, heightened senses, etc. "I've felt hunger, but after you grow on the fang you learn to control it. I still feel the same, well basics. I still want the same things. Sustenance, shelter, love, sex, air and all that other loverly stuff I still need."

She didn't get it. How could there be a demon in a vampire? What kind of vampire would allow that to happen? "You must have a lot of issues with priests." She smirked at him a little. Of course they all did, but priests hardly ever came out at night in her world. If they did they weren't paid attention to. "Shame you can't walk over your own grave as well. Send a thrill up your own spine."

Wait. Had he called her pet? She wasn't a pet! Well, at least not his... yet.

A look of concern crossed her features, "I'm afraid so." She eyed the blood on him again. Now that she was actually paying attention he was hot and sweaty, adrenaline pumping and all that. She licked her lips, her brow raising as she thought about offering to give him a bath as her eyes strayed over him. "Hmm? Oh! The map says." Moving to his side she flipped it open, pointing to her room where her name was elegantly sprawled. "See, show's everyone's name and their rooms. There seems to be as many basement floors as there are topside floors. So no worries on getting burned by the sun, love."

Spike stared at her intently, trying to make sense of the situation. He ran a claw-shaped hand through his hair in frustration.

"Well, that is just.. wrong!" He scoffed lightly, swaying impatiently in place. "Get all good n' ready to be offed heroicly in a viciously intense battle.." He pointed at her, as if to strengthen his emphasis. "For the final time, I may add.. And now I'm here." While observing her and waving a hand in her direction, he noticed something odd about her front teeth. Her fangs were always equipped. "Here with a vampire acting all Wadsworth on me from some other dimension who doesn't even need to put her demon face on to feed?"

He paused his racing thoughts for a single moment, a look of curiosity moved through his eyes. "You need air? You breathe?" He quirked an eyebrow.

This vampire was so passionate. Erika watched him intently, her eyes shining and never straying too far from him at all. She was intrigued. Sighing she shook her head, "Well, if you get back then you'll probably be in the same battle. I'm not sure how that works. Or if something wrong happens here..." She lifted a shoulder and eyed him.

"So what? Were you some kind of vampire cop in your world? You seem to be, well heroes take care of other people." She bit her bottom lip a little. "We only took care of our kind. Well our big bads did." Erika rolled her eyes, thinking of Selene.

Now he was going a bit too far. She growled in the back of her throat, "I'm not American and I'm not a bloody demon!" She waved a hand at him, in front of his face, "Just a vampire! You know, Dracula type!" She then paused, "Not that we can change into bats or anything, well Marcus can." She shuddered and wrapped her arms around herself, "Well...he had wings."

Raising her brows, Erika looked up at the ceiling, "Yes and yes. How else can you talk or...exert yourself? Blood still runs through our bodies, just we can't make it." She lifted a shoulder. Eying him again she moved toward him, trying to tell if he didn't breathe or not. "You don't? And why do you let a demon live in you?"

He stared at her blankly. His left, scarred eyebrow raised ever so slightly as he realized that the dimension gap was going to be harder to close than he first assumed. Dracula exists in her dimension too? The ponce!

Spike opened his mouth to explain his pop-culture reference to Clue, but kept himself from speaking. She'd probably just glare in confusion again. And ask more questions. More questions that would take far too long to answer.

"Look," he let out with a breathy sigh, staring down at the map and key in his hand. "I'm more than happy to answer your questions. If we're both stuck here, we'll have plenty of time for the Q and A. Just.. for now, show me around or what have you. The whole magical bloody mystery tour." He rolled his eyes a bit, but his expression softened. "I'm havin' a bit of trouble standin' still."

"Oh." A sheepish look grew on Erika's face. "Sorry." she folded her hands together in front of her and gave him a closed lipped smile. "The excitement coursing through you...well, it's made me a bit on edge." She grinned at him then, then shrugged her shoulders.

"Er, would you want to wash off first, love?" She pointed at the multi-colored blood still on him. "Just so if I touch you I won't get nasty?" She leaned in close, "What room are you in again? I'm not good with remembering numbers unless it's a guy's cell phone number." She smirked and thought to herself, or your room number from now on.

"Let's see if you don't want to go wash first, I can always chase you 'round." She grinned at him and lifted a shoulder. That was the closest thing she could come up with that would be anything like a battle of epic proportions for a male. If it was Erika she was sure that she would like sex far better than any battle, at least in sex she got something out of it.
