Ash had decided that some time spent in the foyer of the mansion might not be such a bad idea. He could feel the gates calling out, crying for new people to enter so the mansion could play with them. He eyed them with distaste from his seat behind the desk. The chair was balanced on two legs, his booted feet up on the desk while his arms were folded over his chest. He was in his usual attire, just watching the gates.
Even though he knew that someone else was down on the beach, walking up towards the mansion. That had been the second person that day to enter without the aide of the gates, and he wondered what the gods and goddesses were up to. Tricking more people into just walking up upon the mansion, most likely. Oh well, he hadn't technically been one of those either. He'd been pulled there, just outside the mansion against his will. Damn them for bothering him in his home of Katoteros where they should not have been able to touch him. He blamed that one on Savitar. Bastard.
He lowered the chair, removed his feet from the desk and stood to his full height with his arms still over his chest. An Oneroi? No, not much older than one of the oldest of the Oneroi though. The Dream-Hunters would've proven to be useful here though, helping the humans heal in their dreams as at least two of them had come in injured. He wondered how D'Alerian was doing without him around, probably torturing the Dark-Hunters by now. He couldn't help but smirk at that thought.
His brow rose at the key that appeared on the desk, "Dream?" He canted his head to the side, raising a brow at the name. He'd never heard it spoken before with the Oneroi. "Should prove to be an interesting fellow." Using his powers he willed the doors of the mansion to open inward as he started towards them. In a few long strides he was there, watching the approach of the other. "Welcome." He called, looking around at the landscape and then at the sky. Clouds were slowly banking it was going to start raining soon, which was fine. Ash just wondered where they were. Surely they weren't on Savitar's constantly moving island home, there was no way in hell that Savitar would've given that up without a fight. A long and hard fight at that.
Oh how he vainly hoped that the other god would die, but then again Savitar had helped him out a lot recently. It pained him to think on Nick and Cherise, so he pushed those thoughts far from his mind and put his defenses on guard with this newcomer. He was older than Ash, and there was no telling what sort've powers this being held.
