When?: April 3, Year Unknown, Very Early Morning
Where?: The Foyer

Walking down the dark metal hallway, Ed swung her arms as she plodded along side Ein on the hunt for the mysterious space creature. Balancing the heat sensor on top of her head, she looked at everything through the goggles it was connected to turning everything shades of greens and reds. She grinned as her mind thought out a great mission log for the days current events. August 6th, Skyday. Today, we will go look for the spooky mysterious space creature. Lesson, lesson….If you see a stranger, follow him!

She paused in mid stride and turned towards the bathroom door with interest. Taking an attack stance, she quickly released the catch and leaned in as the door slid open. “Are you here? Are you her~re, Mr. Spooky Creature?” Seeing no heat being picked up she backed out with a giggle. This was fun! Looking back down the hall she noted that Ein was quickly walking ahead of her. “Ein! Ein! Wait up!” She called out and jogged after with her arms out, plane style.

She instantly stopped as everything went black. “Ah?” Looking around she still couldn’t see anything. “Ein? Where did you go?” She jumped a little as the greens and reds came back but no longer outlining the inner hall of the Bebop. Instead there was a giant statue or something next to her and water flowing around. “Hmmm?” She cocked her head to the side forgetting the device balanced there till it crashed onto the hard floor, a few pieces braking off. The image she saw quickly focused to its usual detail with a shade of green over it from her goggles.

Seeing the fountain she quickly ran over to it and jumped in splashing the water around. “Heehee! Ed found a fountain! Ed found a fountain!” She kicked the water about not caring is she was making a mess of herself and the floor around it. It was rare to ever find a fountain so large and even more so when she was supposedly on a space ship in the middle of space. “Weee!!” She twirled around in it only to loose her balance and go head first splashing down. “Ayah….” She sat up from the water and shook her hair out pulling up the goggles to look around with her own eyes only to find she was no longer alone.

Ed stared at the little squirrel. She’d seen many little animals during her years growing up on earth. But she couldn’t quite remember seeing something like this. Especially not a talking one. Even Ein couldn’t talk. But if this thing could, maybe Ein could!

She leaned down closer to Hammy with a big grin on her face, her nose nearly touching his. “Aha! I found you spooky mysterious space creature!” She declared loudly before pausing in confusion. Now how was she going to get it back to Spike? Her mind began to wonder and finally focused on what the squirrel had said and eyed the desk. “A cookie?” She wasn’t really sure what kind of thing the squirrel was talking about, as cookies to her were no where but inside computers along with chips. She saw the crumbs around his mouth though and assumed that a cookie must be his would for food. “Ed is hungry.” She stood up and held her stomach, eyeing the desk longingly.

Deciding on action, she instantly pounced the desk, landing on top of it with all four limbs gripping it. She leaned to the side and chomped down on it with sharp teeth as hard as she could. “Gimma foo’!” (Give me food!) She shouted out, voice muffled by the wood between her teeth.

The desk continued to just stand still, allowing for her to bite its top. Giving up on teeth, Ed grabbed for one of the handles and tried to pry it open. There was no budging. She tried all the draws one at a time, then as many as she could grab before finally grabbing up the whole desk in a fit of rage and, head first, body slammed it back down onto the floor. Still nothing happened. Panting heavily, she sunk to her knees, legs splayed out, head on the floor and butt in the air. “Ed so hungry…” She stared at the upside down desk and gave it a little pout.
