Zack didn't know quite why, but there was something about all of the large, fancier areas of the mansion that just made him feel uncomfortable. Working at ShinRa, he had been exposed to enough massive building to not be too overawed, but... that had been in a business setting.

This place... was just over the top.

And that was how Zack had ended up sitting on the floor, cross-legged, near the fountain. It wasn't exactly the best place to go for normal, but it was better that the over-large rooms in the rest of the place. He would have just stayed put in his room, but Zack wasn't the sort of person who could manage even a few hours without someone to talk to.

He was social. It was a curse. ...for everyone else.

Zack propped his chin on his hand and watched the entrances into the room with a somewhat bored expression on his face. Maybe that Chase guy would show up again... or someone else.
