Spike's entry, April 18th. (Take two.)
Who?: Spike and greeter.
What?: Spike's arrival to the mansion.
When?: April 18th, sunset.
Where?: The fountain.
Rating?: Probably PG-13 for Spike's choice of words.
Status? In progress.

Falling. Falling was never comfortable.

Spike had fallen a lot in his time. He had been thrown through windows of extremely tall office buildings, jumped off of bridges, and he'd had his good share of being knocked around in the air by explosions... but nothing had ever felt quite like this.

He was falling, all of his senses could tell him that, but it was less of a pull of gravity, and more of a pull of... something else.

The platinum-blonde vampire finally hit the ground with a thud. He rolled over quickly onto his back and jumped to his feet, instantly dropping into a defensive position. As he observed his new surroundings, Spike dropped his guard and circled the fountain he had landed behind. He placed a hand onto it nervously, just to make sure he was corporeal.

Where were the demons? The dragon? The 100-foot giant? Illyria, Gunn, and Angel? The battle was far from over, and it was just getting to the good and bloody part. So, why was he here? How was he here? He wasn't supposed to survive that battle.

He wore his signature leather trench coat, his boots, black jeans, and a plain black t-shirt. A few splatters of various colors of demon blood decorated his attire, and a bit of his own blood was leaking slowly from his busted lip.

He let his eyes wander up to the arches and he instinctively scratched the back of his head.

"Not in bloody Kansas anymore.."

“Nope,” the Doctor said above from the stairs. “No monkeys with wings, no scarecrow, no Axe-man, no Lion and no wicked witch.”

He walked down the stairs and smiling, “I reckon you appeared here from where ever you come from,” the Doctor said in his little arrogant tone. “Welcome to the mansion. I hope you don’t believe in purgatory because this isn’t and it does not exist.” The Doctor said rambling on as usual. “Anyway,” he walked over the desk, “lookee there is a key with a name here,” he grabbed the key and looked at it. “Spike,” he eyed the man with his dark brown eyes. “Are you Spike?”

Spike watched the strange man skeptically. He stood in place, as his eyes darted around the large room for any sign of a threat. His shoulders tensed up as the stranger moved closer.

"Who're you?"

Spike's eyebrow raised slowly. And how do you know my name?

“I am the Doctor,” he held his hand out with the key with Spike’s name on it. “It seem the mansion seem to know who’s here and have the key ready for them.” He had a puzzled look on his face. “So, this being has power to manipulate space and time. It has too.”

He walked around looking around, he was skeptical, “Y’ know this is a wild riddle, Spike,” the Doctor said walking around looking at this and that. “Where are you from? Sound Londonish, United Kingdom, but, late twentieth century?” It was a wild guess.

Spike was stunned. He took the key with a bit of hesitation.

Finally deciding that this.. "Doctor" was of no immediate threat to him, his stance relaxed a bit. But what was this place? What kind of Doctor was he? Was this one of those holding dimensions set up by good old Wolfram & Hart?

"Look, uh, Doctor, as brilliant as this meet n' greet is going... I have to get back. I can't stay here to play house with you." He held out the key, to hand it back to him.

The Doctor looked at the key in Spike’s hand, “I am sorry, really sorry,” he had made cringed face expression and raised his shoulders. “I am sorry we are seemed to be stuck here. I wish I could send you back home and I would.”

“Though, a few selected us are working on the solution. At this moment,” he said in a little higher pitch, “We aren’t so lucky yet. So, you might as well take that key up to your room and settle down. I ‘fraid this will take awhile. If you do stumble on a blue tall box, please, tell me when you see it. That will be a key for us to get out, it’s vital. . ."

Spike slowly took the key and placed it in the front pocket of his leather trench coat.

"Right, okay." He blinked a few times. "You mean, there's no going back? Not... yet?"

He was oddly calm. Until the realization that he had just been pulled out of the most epic battle probably... ever.. just to be stuck in a mansion. The rage built slowly on his face until he couldn't take it any longer. He turned and punched the fountain with a loud growl.

Breathing heavily, although he didn't need to breathe, he looked at his newly injured fist. Speaking with an alarmingly calm voice, he turned his head to the side to gaze at "The Doctor".

"Does the name Wolfram and Hart mean anything to you?"

There was movement in the foyer. People! Erika nearly bounced down the hallway, grinning. She bounced right into the foyer and paused. Her bright blue eyes caught the sight of two men. Two gorgeous men.

In fact, one was angry and he punched the fountain.

Anger did a lot for Erika. It brought that little thrill of fear and adventure and the danger that lurked around every intimate atmosphere. Erika was just one of those birds that liked just about anything to do with men. "Ooooh, somebody hurt themselves and didn't need to." She clicked her tongue, grinning at the Doctor. "Hullo again." She gave him a little wave and then slowly made her way toward the new comer.

Reaching out she touched the arm to the injured hand. Fingers trailed down gingerly as she kept her eyes on his face. "Mind if I have a lick, love?" Erika gave the other blonde a smirk.

Vampire, he concluded, from her obvious taste for blood and the way she smelled. But a different sort? His senses confused him, so he put this tidbit in the back of his head for now.

"I mind," he moved his hand away from her, "love."

Spike pushed his injured fist into one of his pockets, and was suddenly aware of the taste of his own blood in his mouth. He watched the female vampire with a noticeable curiosity, all the while keeping himself on guard as much as possible under the strange circumstances.

Spike sighed in frustration and complained. "Please tell me that this 'Doctor' here is off his rocker," he gestured lazily to the Doctor, "and there is a way for me to get back to where I was."

The Doctor so wanted to ask what did the fountain deserve a punch. “Wolfram and Hart, sounds like a good mystery book,” he commented.

The Doctor raised both eyebrows when he smiled to Erika, “’Ello again back to you.”

The Doctor had two vampires standing before him and he had no clue and his people created a sun to protect there sun from Vampyres. But, he had nothing against vampires. Well, he did. The vampyres that killed their victims or controlled their victims.

The Doctor started to rock back and forth on his feet just for fun, he tucked his hands in his trousers’ pocket, leaned a little forward from the waist. “No, I am not off the rocker, though, I can rock!”

Erika pouted as Spike drew away from her. Being this close to him was intoxicating. He felt well aged. Like a fine wine or some other silly comparison as that. Such age meant power, he really did reek of danger and....excitement. Her eyes kept on the hand, even with it in his pocket. Idly wondering what else he kept in his pocket, she lifted her bright blue eyes and gave a grin to the Doctor.

She then snorted and gave Spike a look, "If you ask me everyone's a bit off their rocker here." Still feeling the need to sulk over not getting her way, she crossed her arms under her breasts. A sullen look grew on her pretty features, even if the doctor was being rather funny. "Perfectly good blood and you're wasting it." She shot the other a look, moving to stand closer to the doctor now that she'd been shunned.

Turning her pout on to the Doctor she batted her eyelashes prettily at him, "He's being rather mean don't you think?" Her eyes then slid over to Spike, a small smirk forming on her lips as she didn't turn her head from the Doctor's direction.

A last of the Time Lord might not have aura of who they are. The Doctor might put Spike in a small category because the Doctor could rate very high as dangerous. How many beings you know that destroyed his home planet and fourteen other worlds? So, many things he did so many stories he has.

Heck, Time Lords where protecting themselves specifically from Vampyres because Time Lords had regeneration artifact that had let Time Lords to gain regeneration factors. They even possessed of the power to die and come back in another body as a new reincarnated body. They didn’t need blood or to survive from other life sources. That’s why MOST vampires had wanted to find Gallifrey to take over for their resources. Well, Gallifrey was destroyed in the Time Wars. The Doctor had to stop it and sacrifice his people to stop the endless war. It was a price to stop the war, but, later he realized his Time Lord enemies still lurk in the shadows of time to haunt him of their existence.

Though, many people had noticed that the Doctor wasn’t just a simple traveler a few even knew just by looking at his dark brown eyes. For instance, William Shakespeare knew the Doctor was not from this world. How did William Shakespeare know this? Maybe, the old poet good eye to spot character?

Though, the nice fact about the Doctor’s past is his character and he how he hides and masks it. He won’t simply tell you either, unless he has to make a threat. But, he had seen a lot, he had died nine times, he saw the beginning and the end of the Universe, other dimensions, saw beginning of human creation to the near end of the human race.

When Erika had mentioned ‘good blood’ the Doctor had missed that metaphor saying. He took as blood as blood brothers, or blood as lineage. Being over nine hundred years old, living a few different regenerations your mind gets filled up with many things.

The Doctor had cocky grin just to match Erika’s mood. He liked to play the game as I got the girl’s interest and you lost her, game. Though, he was interested of Erika and everyone else. That’s why he liked this mansion. It’s a play ground of knowledge knowing people. Everything was constant changing. He didn’t mind that. But, he really didn’t like to be stuck in a spot and people being held against their own will.

The other honorable thing about the Doctor, he feels he had to be the knight of fixing things in time and universe. Well, that’s what his REAL title states for. The Doctor of fixing everything and his enemy the Master was the Master over all things. But, the Doctor had lost his arch enemy. He had died in his arms. The Master had chosen to accept death to get the Doctor at the end. Meaning leaving the Doctor with guilt, pain, and being the last of his kind.

The Doctor stuck out his lower lip and nodded, “I reckon, punching a fountain. It’s not the fountain’s fault. What did the fountain deserve to be punched?” The Doctor of course was throwing nonsense out so they might not truly know him.

“How would you like to be a non-animated object and be punched because someone was mad?” He winked at Erika. He was having fun playing a little. Or was he being rude? He wasn’t sure.

"Terrible welcoming party, you are."

Spike was stunned at the way these two were acting. He stared blankly at them for a moment, before letting out a scoff and moving to walk away from them. He turned his head to the side to yell back.

"How about you two lovebirds let me know when you decide to be a bit more helpful, hm?"

He walked further into the mansion with purpose, but stopped when it truly dawned on him that he was in an entirely new place. And he was all alone. And alive. Unfortunately.
