“It’s not set up like the TARDIS?” he sounded sad. He really missed his time machine. The man and his ship are connected to each other. Devros knew that would cause a lot of problems to the Doctor if the TARDIS was destroyed. It would eventually drain the Doctor. That’s why he needed to find it soon. He had awhile but he doesn’t wanna take the chance.
“Drink?” He asked the air, leaning against the counter crossing his ankles.
The Doctor had wandered would the Devros would have killed the Doctor. No, Devros most likely had a way to get the Doctor like the Master did. But, if the Daleks was by themselves the Doctor would had been exterminated a few times to he had no life left. He would be dead. All his companions would be dead. Donna would be dead with his human-time lord self. The Doctor didn’t expect that to happen. Talking about surprises!
He missed Donna Noble. He wished she didn’t go through what she had gone through. He most likely will have to take stops or check the TARDIS to see how Donna Noble doing in her time. Someone can kill her and she will come back to life and than she will be torn apart and die. He wouldn’t dream letting Donna live like that.
Sadly, Donna’s father knew about Donna’s trips and he so honoured Donna. The Doctor would have asked her grandfather a trip, but, the events had cause him not too. The Doctor would enjoy seeing Donna’s grandfather’s excitement. That would be a blast.
Here is the Doctor thinking about Donna Noble. How did he do that? Was it him? He had a bad habit doing that? He did it to Donna Noble at first and Martha Jones about Rose. But, Rose was with him. But in the future she was with his half-human and half time-lord. He wasn’t the same Doctor that Rose knew. He had seen much more and he knew for sure he changed.
He’s not sure how Rose will fit in his life. Maybe she does. He has no clue because he had no Tardis to help him.
“Drink?” he repeated himself. He discovered his mind had wandered off. “Drink, er, I have a nice warm brandy.”
