“Ahhhhh… what time is it?” yawned Takato as he got out of his bed. Unable to find a clock (the room had, for some reason, provided him with everything he could need but that), he instead grabbed his D-Arc and checked it.
“Wow, it’s evening already… hey Guilmon, ready for dinner?”
The dinosaur, who was asleep in an exact replica of the shed he used to stay at in Shinjuku Park, awoke instantly.
“YAY DINNER!” he yelled, running over to the door and waiting for Takato to come open it, unable to do so himself due to his claws.
“Haha, I thought you’d say that, boy,” laughed Takato as he approached the door. As he walked, he glanced around at his room. It still amazed him… it was an almost exact replica of his room back at his parents’ bakery. Only it was larger, and there was a copy of Guilmon’s shed in one corner. It even had grass around it and you had to walk up about four steps to get to it. It was as if someone had literally torn it from the park and put it in his room, which had been similarly torn from his home.
That wasn’t the only thing that amazed him, either. The whole mansion was fascinating. The day before, he and Guilmon had just sort of wandered around for a while (and, curiously, ran into absolutely no one). The place was HUGE. They had done the same thing today, this time over-hearing some things about new arrivals. He had made a mental note to go find some of them, or anyone really, but had come back to his room for a nap first. And now it was time for dinner.
“Come ON, Takatomon!”
And Guilmon was hungry.
“Alright alright, let’s go,” said Takato as he opened the door.
