[MALE][18 - Oldest of the group][UPPER OR MIDDLE CLASS][THE GLUE, THE ONE WHO HOLDS THEM ALL TOGETHER] |
Aubrey was the last to gravitate to the group, mousy and dejected she probably needed them a little more than they needed her. Her family situation kept her locked in her closet on the nights that she made it home, out of the simple fear that her father would stumble in again, in drunken rage, and beat her from one side of the trailer to the other. Her mother was usually too concerned about her other children and figured Aubrey could fend for herself. Neither of her parents held jobs and instead lived off of the Welfare provided by the state, but that money was usually blown on cigarettes and beer. With the six, she found an environment where she could be the little sister, where someone would look out for her. People she could finally depend on. She is the neediest of them, and will admit to anyone that the worst part of her day is when she is without them. |
Justin is the overachiever in high school. He follows everything by the book, analyzes things logically and doesn't let his emotions get in the way of thinking. He's the smartest kid in school and is confident that he could pass every class with flying colors. He knows the most trivial information in the world. Pop culture or even anything history or math related. His confidence is often mistaken as cockiness but he doesn't really care about what people think of him. Most people think he's a jerk but what they don't now is that he is funny, friendly and knows how to have fun despite of the fact that he puts his studies before anything else. He's always been the logical thinker of the group and the one that would constantly step up as a leader whenever it comes to making decisions and what not. Despite him being contented in his life, he holds a dark secret but he's not going to tell anyone about it anyway. |
Gramm is probably one of the six with the biggest of hearts, but no one would ever guess it. Not even them. He doesn't take shit from anyone, but those he cares about most. He's lived in Pacific Grove his entire life, but never had intentions of calling the place home. Growing up school was the only get-a-way, life at home was anything but a life. His father had been on disability since Gramm was in diapers and currently a drunk that rather waste all his money on 40s then putting food on the table. Sharlene, his mother wasn't all that much better. A retired dancer from out of town with a taste for things she couldn't have including other men. Gramm would rather be outside then sitting in the broken down shack he lived in, so thats what he did. Hardly ever will you catch him in or around his house, he wasn't embarrassed or hiding, he just rather avoid the headache. He's always been the Stone Wall for the group. Proving it time and time again whenever someone tried to start something, or even looks at one of them the wrong way. His attitude often getting himself in trouble with everyone at some point. No dreams, no aspirations, he doesn't see a future for himself and is too stubborn to listen to anyone saying otherwise. He would never abandon any of them always keeping his loyalties in lock. He's also the hardest to rekindle ties with once they've been broken. |
Some people use humor as a way to disguise things. To cover up the pain that really lays there. And this would be no different for Marie-Elise. A second generation Pacific Grove citizen. Her parent's had been high school sweethearts. The Home Coming Queen and Football Star, couldn't be more picture perfect right? Well, just like previously stated. Not is all as well as it seems. Just because you put on a smile for others, doesn't mean you are really happy. Sometimes it is all just a show, a pretty facade for the world to see. Marie-Elise's parents were completely dysfunctional. Her school teacher mother also a closet alcoholic. And her Father unable to let go of his glory days taking on the couching job was rumored to take to the pretty girls in gym class a little too well. From a very young age Marie-Elise had seen these cracks in the seems. And chosen to find her escape in making other's laugh. If everyone was too busy laughing at your jokes and having a good time. They would never have time to look deep and see all the inner turmoil really going on. Who knew where or when she really had come to find a real family in that group of six. But she had, and she clung to it. Found safety in it. Often using her jokester ways to make light of the more difficult times. Always making sure everyone had a smile on their face. And being the one to bring everyone to a better place with her cheerful ways. |
"17 year old brunette beauty Edie Morrison is considered the Beauty of the group, a title she'll more than happily play into. However, in this group beauty doesn't automatically equate to being the popular one. When Edie had just turned sixteen her father got the business break he'd been working for all his life and the Morrison's moved from their small middle class home to a new beach front mansion. Not that they needed it, given that her mother and father spend more time away from the small town than they do in it. Edie is the flighty one - a fact she cemented when she first found herself with money. The girl who dreamed of being a princess could finally afford the Manolo's she'd always wanted and she was suddenly accepted by the popular kids at their small school. It only lasted a few months before she realized who her real friends were and while they took her back there are occasions when it surfaces that maybe not all has been forgiven. More than anything else the pretty girl doesn't like herself all that much and she hates being alone and will usually find a reason to be with someone else. She's one of the heaviest users in the group, though she writes it off as fun. |
