It’s been busy around here! We want to welcome all our new players and characters (don’t forget to run the
friends button), and to thank everyone for joining in the fight plot. It’s shaken things up, and we're really impressed with how everyone has run with it. We’re coming up on a week change soon, so it’s time to talk plot.
This Week (Week Four)There are just a couple major events left to cover:
Rocky Mountain Arsenal: A trip to recover more supplies. (Thursday Morning/Afternoon)
Town Hall Meeting/Trial/Angry Mob/Intervention: Discussing the trouble with the leadership. (Saturday Night)
Are people interested in playing either or both of these out? Anything we've missed? Are we ready for a week change this weekend or early next week?
Next Week (Week Five)For Week Five things are going to get even more plot intense. The Seekers, that cult who caused this whole mess, have a mole in the camp. Elizabeth has been scouting out Haven with an eye towards abducting some new recruits. Next week, her team will be joining her and they’ll put that plan into action. This is a
major event that is going to effect everyone, and we don’t want anyone to be taken by surprise by it. (Well, we want all the characters to be taken by surprise, but not the players XD ) The current abductee list includes Penny, Lulu, Brooke, Lew, and Jess. If we've got that wrong please say something. And if you want to offer up your character to be added to the list let us know! Anyone is eligible, male and female, young and old, they'll come up with some reason they need them.
What happens after that is mostly undecided, so that plotting is up to you. We’ll need a rescue team, and people who may be injured or displaced in the chaos. Drop a comment with ideas for how you want to be involved in this plot, and what you’d like to see happen in conjunction with it.
The FutureWe have some ideas for plots yet to come, and we want to incorporate plot ideas that you have too. Let us know what you think of these and what other ideas you have. Please keep in mind, we do ask that any plots that are going to effect the whole game (or more than a few characters) get approved by a mod first. We don't want to be controlling dictators, we just want to make sure that different plot lines don't conflict with each other and that things keep running as smoothly as possible.
- Outpost: Setting up a second location, with the increasing population and the need for better land for agriculture it might not be a bad idea. That means splitting people up though, convincing the community, and finding people to take the lead on the project.
- Traders: Some visitors from the outside world, looking to trade with the survivors. A way to bring in some new characters. What sort of welcome will they get? Are they really who they say they are?
- Distress Call: The radio picks up a signal from a small group or community in trouble. How will the residents of Haven respond?
