Sam had stopped midway in the lobby looking at Buffy as she had come rushing in after him spewing words about sharing a room. Sam was seriously taken aback by it. Share a room. With her. Them. In the same room. Her in another bed. Next to him.
Oh god.
He jerked his head around as the clerk spoke and he shot the man a look that said not in his life time if ever. He grabbed her arm, moving her to the door, "You should have stayed in the car," he spoke low for her to hear and only her. "Okay, I'll get us a room, but, go wait by the car, okay." He walked over, "One room, two beds." He saw the look the guy was giving him, "She's my cousin," he spoke quickly.
"Uhuh," the man answered and pushed the book to him to sign as he took Sam's cash as well and then handed him a key. "Enjoy ... your cousin." He grinned.
Sam just grabbed the key and walked out, "We got the room in back," he informed her and climbed back into the car to take them around. Once the car was off the street and parked before the room, Sam grabbed some stuff from the trunk and his bag and headed inside.
He then pulled out a can of salt and started lining all the windows and doors. "Don't break the lines," he informed her before he then took some chalk out and started drawing upon the door, making it a lock box. He then went over, pulled out the portable printer and his laptop to boot it up and thank god, might be in the sticks but had internet. Now to look up the town and see what he could find in the local paper to get a clue to what Lilith was doing. "If you want to shower, go ahead, but check for holes first, okay," he looked to her.
