He was warming up to her, that was for sure. When he made his joking move as he reached up, she had jumped in her own skin a bit. She found herself grinning at him, and wanting to swat his arm - though she didn't do that. "Real nice of you. I'm a stranger here. I bet if I tell Bobby he'll punish you," she mock-teased, feeling brave enough to snatch the box of Twinkies from him.
"Ah, bliss-food. I haven't had these in a while. Xander - my friend, he eats every Twinkie that's in sight," she explained as her fingers worked the box open.
"You know, I've made an observation." She pulled out one of the Twinkies and held it out to him. "You're very tall." Of course, she was pretty short at 5'4''. "Maybe I should keep you around to help boost me up and reach for high things. You would be very handy." It was weird to be making conversation in this strange kitchen, which was fairly sparse and dark. But what else could they do?
