Really, it had been a fool's hope that had brought them to England on this chance Friday afternoon in Nottinghamshire, England. Well, it had been Betty's fool hope. Dallas and Rick were getting dragged along because when it came down to it, they were her Merry Men and she was planning on milking that for all it was worth. Plus, she knew Will and Allan could never pass up the chance to try and find Sherwood Forest, especially if there was actual cause to, and in Betty's mind there was. Gotham City had shown up for all her Bat friends, and this whole week Betty and Robin couldn't stop obsessing over the prospect of finding their forest. Their forest. Betty wanted it so badly she could taste pine. She figured that their best shot was a good, thorough search of England, but since England was sort of huge, she'd done some internet research. Since Nottinghamshire was the designated central scene for most of Robin Hood lore, Betty thought that was as good of a start as any.
So early Friday afternoon she'd dragged Rick and Dallas with her to the MTN and off they went on a search for their beloved Sherwood Forest. More currently they were now making their way across a massive, open field, diligently searching but also having fun and generally being crazy outlaws with weapons. It was chilly in England, luckily Betty had remembered to dress for the occasion and had on long pants and her favorite hooded sweatshirt, very similar to the one Robin always wore but she wasn't one to acknowledge that... The supposed Sherwood Forest was to their left, the one that had been attracting tourists for decades, but Betty and Robin were sure it wasn't there, so they very suddenly directed Rick and Dallas to veer a sharp right. Stopping for a moment to shift the bag on her shoulder and raise her bow in the air with a a grin, Betty arched an eyebrow at Rick while aiming for a tree 30 yards away. "Let's see what you got, Martinez."
