RP: Re-Acquaintance Date: Feb. 6? Characters/Pairing: Draco, Millicent, and Blaise. Possibly Narcissa? Rating: probably ~ PG-13 Warnings: Language, perhaps. Summary: Millicent wants to catch up with Draco.
Millicent smoothed a hand down her robes for the umpteenth time, paranoid and nervous both. She'd been busy in the last week or so, just as she'd been ever since coming back in country. There were a few more problems with getting into business than she'd anticipated, and she'd anticipated quite a bit for a long time now. The situation in England was apparently more serious than the foreign papers and her correspondences had let on.
But she was taking a break. She wanted to do a little socializing. Especially to reconnect with some of her old school mates, like Theo and Pansy, and also with Blaise and Draco. She was different now; perhaps she could forge better friendships.
She ignored the inner voice that told her she wasn't worth better friendships.
Blaise was to meet here at Malfoy Manor, as she'd had a prior appointment at Gringotts and hadn't known the precise time she would get done. However, she was in plenty of time--definitely not late. She of course knew where Malfoy Manor was, and she arrived promptly.
She smoothed the robes one more time, assuring herself that they were indeed quite fashionable and she looked as well as a troll such as herself could look. Her hair was pulled up and back, showing off her new found cheekbones, and she wore brown and creme, which just about exactly matched the color of her eyes. Her father had kindly said she looked quite fetching.
Finally, the last self-check done, she knocked on the door. She found herself looking forward to seeing Draco again.
