Okay, first things first, brilliant news:
That fucking company I worked for for three years who screwed me over?

Okay, now that's out of the way...
Me and Euan have, as of yesterday, started that numeracy/literacy course. I... don't know how to feel about it at the moment. Yesterday it was okay, but the maths test I did today stressed me out to the point of tears. The worst thing was, it was a fairly simple question I got stuck on - by that point, I was so stressed and confused, I just couldn't think and spent around twenty minutes just staring at the question, trying desperately to take in, and, the harder I tried, the less it sank in.
Eventually, it suddenly just clicked and I was able to write an answer. Now let's just hope I got the damn thing right, given how long I spent stressing over it.
All of this just proves that I have little hope of upping my numeracy level. I've always had huge difficulties with maths - embarrassingly huge - and today only served to prove that even more.
I spent the last few hours making spider charts to do with employment, though, so maybe it'll be a little calmer tomorrow. I still have three charts to complete on the computer (with one already completed and printed off for my file), so that should take me a little while.
In other course-related news, one of the guys there is another person who automatically assumed that I'm a lot younger than I am. *sigh* I wish people would stop assuming I take it as a compliment already.
Aaaand I'm hungry. Better go eat something now. |

With Tessa's guidance, Sosuke managed to return back to his quarter safe and sound with victory. Back to the submarine, he resumed his school work but forgot to bring Kaname's school book back to her after his two days military mission. Kaname was pissed off. |

I unfortunately do not have an icon gayer then Cecil but be assured that when I post with this icon, whatever it is that I am going to blog about is going to be 100% homosexual! And oh boy it is.
It started with the fact that I kept getting yahoo news feeds about Adam Lambert's oh so shocking AMV performance. I mean the critics were really harsh and so okay, I don't normally follow American Idols, in fact I generally and purposely try not to because to me American Idols is really just very.. generic.. But I decided to download the album, y'know.. just to see if it was any good.
It is, my friends, the most homosexual album on the face of the planet. No seriously, it is. And "For Your Entertainment" must be the king of all homosexual songs. The line "I'm gonna ride you until you blow"? yeah, that gave me a few warm fuzzies inside. So yes, I really do like the album alot and most of it has been tagged for "my favorites" on my ipod.
I was giggling over the song all the way home from work where two muses were expressly fighting over who got to use the song. We had a winner but there was alot of really dirty fighting involved and loser went home to said lick his wounds. OH WELL.
It's a really great dirty song, it really is. Well worth that people's sensibilities were sacrificed in the making of the song. You know what, good on him. The world needs a little more homoeroticism. |

So, its December first which means a final word count for the WriMo's done in November.

No amount of poking would save my NaNo muse and believe me I tried. She just upped and died which depresses me a great deal as I got off to a really good start with the fic, but oh well. Maybe next year....which I find myself saying every year and I have yet to actually make it to 50,000 words. On the RP side of things though.....I never really realized just how much I threaded in a month until I started keeping track of it all. I know some people counted in journal entries and character apps and what not and had I done that....I really don't want to consider what my word count would have been had I done that so I stuck purely to threads. And I must say that I am rather proud of myself with my word count. Now speaking of threads and muses I have a couple that need replies and journal entries posted. |

1. My username is ______ because ______: ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) amor_remanet; Well, back at the end of ninth grade, when I got my first livejournal, I'd been using Duanya as an online alias (still seen in my email address) and various forms of Sailor Moon-themed silliness as backups. Duanya came from a D&D character who got shot in the face and died; the Sailor Moon stuff was just me being an obsessive fan-nerd. Anyway, when I got to LJ, I wanted to do something ~different~ and ~new~… so I put my four years of Latin class to work and made up a Latin username. It translates to "love remains," which I thought was being Poignant And Cool… and then it just stuck and I'm too attached to change it.
2. My name is _____ because ______: "Kassie: a wild tl;dr monster" because, for ages, it was "Kassie, guardian angel of emo angsty boys" courtesy of something sherlock said on some snaps cup meme (I think it was a snaps cup meme anyway?) a while back, and as much as I loved that name, I thought a change was worthwhile. Also, I talk too much.
3. My journal is titled ____ because ____: "no, not the young people. they shall be spared." This is one of my favorite lines from the translation of Strindberg's The Ghost Sonata I read for Theatre History in my freshman year. Mostly, it's because I just really liked that line. Likewise, the subtitle is, "it could be worse! we could be stuck in the audience!" from one of my favorite lines in Muppet Treasure Island. (Statler and Waldorf are the figureheads on the bow of the ship. They're discussing how much it sucks to be stuck on said bow.)
4. My default userpic is ____ because ____: Linus and his blue blanket in A Charlie Brown Christmas, forlornly staring at the fail-tree. Because it's seasonal and I've been sort of feeling like the fail-tree lately. |

The novels for this game arrived yesterday along with the collector's edition of the guide book and what a nice book it is indeed. Mainly for all the history of the world stuff that is in the back, I love world building and seeing how much effot went into creating the game world fills me with joy espically as a lot of the stuff in here wasn't used in the game at all.Like what the different noble title mean and how they come about as well as a history timeline. Anyone planing to write fanfic for this game whould really love the amount of background info on the world in genral.
The book itself is hardback and has really good quality paper, the game guide is well written and the concept art in the back is beautiful. Really looking forward to using it in my next playthrough.
On a sidenote I finished playing through Sherlock Holmes and in the end I have to say I really enjoyed it. The banter between Holmes and Watson really made this game as well as the fan in jokes like Holmes complaing that everyone seems to think he wears a deerstalker all the time. |

Full Metal Panic Fumoffu #12 - FINALE:
Sosuke frightened the bun seller in school when he demanded for a bun by shooting his rifle into the air. As a result, he had to sell buns during her one week absence. Kaname and others volunteered to help him. A physical fitness teacher had grudge with him and tried to poison his buns but Sosuke's traps got him into sickness and when he finally tried another time, the bun seller had returned and hit him into retirement.
Sosuke was being intimidated by some gangsters but his gun frightened them off. The gang leader ordered her men to kidnap Kaname to subdue Sosuke but Sosuke forced all information from the man who passed the message and intimidated the gang leader instead using her beloved younger brothers. He also listed out weakness of all her men and all of them surrendered and ran off. Kaname was impressed.
Full Metal Alchemist - Brotherhood #34:
Ed and Al only revealed part of their truth to Olivia and they were sent to work. Along the way, they were surprised to learn that Miles was an Isbavl whom Olivia did not mind as long as he was willing to follow her lead. At their workplace, they met Falman who showed them around the place. Meanwhile, Olivia was informed of Kimbley who had been hospitalised nearby asking for their help and she did not like the idea of a criminal state alchemist being released by the central regardless his crimes. In a mechanical area, a homunculus - Sloth broke out of the ground and created chaos. Ed told the arrived Olivia that Sloth could not be killed and she decided to do something that would be worse than death.
Inuyasha Final Act #09:
While Kouga parted with Inuyasha and others, Inuyasha sensed Sesshoumaru with another demon. Other place, Sesshoumaru ran into his mother who offered to guide him a way to train his sword. A hell hound was summoned and it grabbed Rin and Kohaku into the underworld. Sesshoumaru pursued them and Rin's soul vanished in the process, leaving her dead. His sword technique was completed in his grieveness. When he returned with the dead Rin and a despondent Kohaku, Sesshoumaru's mother revived Rin with her underworld necklace. Jaken thanked her on Sesshoumaru's behalf. Sesshoumaru's mother knew of Kohaku's situation and she told him that he could not be saved by Sesshoumaru's sword. Meanwhile, Miroku and others were trying to decipher Kikyou's last words about protecting Kohaku's light. |

People do not teach their children boundaries these days. For example, by the time I seven or eight I knew not to go crawl up in the bushes in front my neighbor's house, peek into the window, and make scratching noises and hiss at the cat in the window. The little shits in my neighborhood, however, can't seem to grasp the concept that doing that is wrong. I'd go out there and give the little bastards a piece of my mind if I wasn't sick and in my pj's.
I guess I shouldn't have expected manners from the brats considering how, a year or so ago, they thought it would be fun to randomly open the front door and let the cats outside. It was unlocked because it was daylight and my dad and I were both home. That, of course, does not happen anymore; the front door is locked and/or barred at all times now. As it should be, honestly.
Maybe it's because the kids on the cul-de-sac I live in are mostly boys. (There are a few girls and I haven't had any problems with them.) I don't know. I do know that if it happens again, I'm going to scare the crap out of 'em. And if their parents say anything to me, well, I'll just tell them they should teach their kids not to peep into other people's windows. |

One Piece #428:
The villian pirate leader used his same net fruit user skill to trap Zorro and Sanji. The giant beatle attacked the villians and got hurt. It overheard the voices of the people fearing for their homeland and decided to sacrifice itself despite the little girl - Yoko's cries. Luffy freed his arm and punched it away from the giant net. The people regreted their selfishness and decided to fight back the enemy. The beatle shedded its skin and freed Luffy, Sanji and Zorro from the nets. But it exhausted itself and collapsed into the villian’s waiting net. Luffy and others were ready to strike back.
Full Metal Panic Fumoffu #08:
Melissa and Kurz finally arrived to aid Sosuke protecting Tessa. During the stay, Tessa despite Kaname’s dissatisfaction would try all means to go to Sosuke’s bed at night until Melissa handcliffed her together. On the last day of the stay, Melissa and others took Tessa to a hot spring inn. There, Kurz and two of Sosuke’s classmates tried to get past Sosuke’s traps to peek the girls but failed. Before Tessa parted the class, she was given a signed well wishes card and a bouquet of flowers. She was moved to tears. When she returned back to work, she vowed she would protect those people. |

Is it impossible to make a character that has had a normal life and is also straight? Is there some unwritten rule somewhere that all straight characters must have a DARK SEKRET in their past while all normal, happy, well adjusted characters have to be flaming brighter than Chicago in 1871?
Also. Next Gens. I would every much like to see someone that ISN'T a raging homosexual, plz and thank you.
Please, next time you are about to do either of these things, please, taken into consideration why you're doing them. And if the reason is anything even remotely related to omgz dramaz or it's just so cooooool, please, stop. Just. Stop.
