For the pat few days Gideon has been wandering back and forth to the pitch/ woods closest to the pitch carrying various unidentified thingies. Feel free to speculate.

Summary: Alice sucks at Herbology
RATING: G, unless someone swears
Sunday afternoon, Alice was in greenhouse four, doing what she could to salvage her most recent plant. The past five years she'd done rather decently in the class because her partner had the green thumb, but after taking the OWLs, her partner had dropped the class, and Alice was left with a rather brown thumb, in a NEWTs level class. But it was required to be both an Auror and a healer, so it had to be done.
The honking daffodil she'd planted earlier this year had started to turn brown the previous week, and Alice was huddled over it, with both One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi and How to Make Your Plants Shut Up (and other tips for growing noisemaking plants), trying to figure out what was wrong, and how to fix it.
