If you're looking for something to do, here are some open threads/entries your character can join and/or comment on:
Open Threads:
Operation House Unity:
Once the new term starts (January 6th), Dumbledore is going to announce Operation: House Unity at the start-of-term feast. The mods have already made most of the penpal assignments (we may have to juggle things a bit to accommodate our new players, but that's not a big deal). We will start PMing the assignments out a day or two before the term starts, and we'll announce that fact in the OOC comm. If for some reason you don't receive your PM(s) with your assignment(s), leave us a comment on the announcement entry, and we'll e-mail you the information instead. Before we get too attached to the assignments we've made, however...
Activity Check:
This is kind of rushed, so we're gonna apologize for that. We should have done a check last week, but ... oh well! We screwed up. So sue us! (Not really. We're broke. :-P)
Instead of going through all the journal entries to make sure people are still around, we're going to ask that everyone currently in the game leave a comment below to let us know you're still active. If someone doesn't respond, then we'll go a-huntin'. We will give everyone until this coming Saturday (January 5th) to respond. If a player is removed from the game due to inactivity, they can always reclaim their character(s) at a later time, as long as a new player hasn't taken over the role.
To make things more interesting, we're going to ask a question that you can answer when you reply (if you want), although simply saying "Here!" is good enough. The question this time around is:
Which of the current students would you personally most like to meet, if you had the chance, and why? (We'll do the Future Students next time, never fear!)
Weekly Reminders:
- We've added a lot of new people lately, so make sure your friends list is up-to-date.
- We still have a lot of needed characters, so please take a moment to check the cast list and see if you know anyone who would be interested in filling some our vacancies.
- The Monster Page of Links includes links to entries that will help you get characters to join your threads, contact other players, and access the anonymous journal (but let us know if you see anything we forgot).
