Helloo there. I’m Elle, and I'm new to stopgap, but I'm excited to join with Gideon Prewett!

He’s the (fraternal!) twin brother of Fabian Prewett and he’s a healer at St. Mungo’s. He’s got an inexplicable infatuation with Hestia Jones, and a heart of gold. Gideon is a very kind-hearted individual, and going into healing probably wasn’t the best choice for such an emotional fellow, because he constantly gets too attached to all his patients and they all affect him in the long run. He’s a great friend and he’ll do anything for those he cares about; so much so that he’s easily taken advantage of. He worries about everyone all the time, and the war has made him a nervous wreck. Gideon’s horrible at lying, and he is so easily readable that anyone can figure him out upon first glance. Thus, everyone knows about his Hestialove. Except maybe Hestia. Despite his meekish demeanor, he’s not afraid to get into a duel if he has to. He's proud of his participation in the Order and would gladly die for it’s cause if it meant his family and friends would be able to live a safe and happy life.

HEY THERE LOVELIES! I'm Auralee (Ara or Lia for short), breaking a long and tragic break from RP with this game to bring you Emmeline Vance.

She's a Ravenclaw alumni (Class of '72! HAY!) and currently works as Chief of Staff for member of the Wizengamot. The people at her job know Emmeline as being an overbearing, bossy, cold ass beeyotch who sends them off on menial tasks in between their actual jobs and who may or may not have gotten her job on her back (=X). Actually, Emmeline affects this attitude to keep anyone from suspecting that she's Order of the Phoenix or a nice person at all, which is very important to her since she's hiding her ex from the death eaters (EDMUND THOMAS COME ON DOWN!). Other Order members and very very close friends know what she's really like.

And I have run out of things to say. Um...she likes muggle candy (marshmallow peeps are her big addiction), exploding snap, and dogs, can put away food like you wouldn't believe, thinks it's okay to start drinking at noon, and might actually avada kedavra you if you don't use a coaster!

Hi everyone! My name is Courtney and I've only had about two years of role-play experience. As far as most Harry Potter RPs are concerned I'm probably still somewhat of a newbie; I hope I don't disappoint any of you.

My character is Derrick Parkinson. I'm not going to ramble about him too much because most of what I have to say so far in his profile. Instead, I'd like to ask if you guys could comment with any questions you have about him -- whether it concerns his personality, social life, family, whatever. I'll answer all of them to the best of my ability. Please ask absolutely anything that crosses your mind -- no matter how minor it may seem -- because, for me, it is an amazing process which helps with character development. Also: please let me know if you think your character would have any sort of relationship with Derrick (whether it is as a friend, acquaintance, enemy, etc.). I am particularly interested in hearing from Elisabeth and Nadia. :) As much as I am looking forward to this, I have to admit that I never expected to rp Pansy Parkinson's father of all people!! :D

One thing that did confuse me is Derrick and his half-sister, Nadia. I am just wondering one thing: if they are half-siblings, which parent is the one they both have in common? I wasn't really too sure on that detail when I filled out his 'skeleton', so I am 100% willing to tweak that section a bit if I need to. I don't want to mess up anything another player has established!

Hello all! It's Daria here. I hope some of you remember me from the past game incarnation. I'm very excited to be back for this round and doubly excited to be playing a character I've never been able to before: Sirius Black.

Sirius Black (infamous Gryffindor graduate from 1978) is an incredibly wealthy, incredibly charismatic and incredibly proactive member of the Order of the Phoenix. He holds no "real" job as his fortune allows him to do so. Although his namesakes says otherwise, the man couldn't be more easy-going. He's quite charming and finds jokes in things he probably ought not. Always known for being a trouble maker, this hasn't changed since his days at Hogwarts.

His best mates are still James, Remus and Peter. However, due to a few misunderstandings, he is quite weary of Remus' loyalties to the Order.

Also, because of course trouble might as well be his name, he's found himself in a tricky situation with Portia Bones. And by tricky, I mean he's sleeping with her. And by sleeping with her, I mean she's married.

So! Let's sort out some relationships, yeah? :)

Hi! I’m Jessica. I’m new around here and I’m bringing you all Nadia Rosier.

Nadia is 21 years old and a former Gryffindor. She’s the younger sister of Derrick Parkinson. She absolutely adores her older brother, however she does not approve of his marriage to Mundungus Fletcher’s sister. Elisabeth is a halfblood and the union between her and Derrick is sullying the family’s good name, regardless of any paper she has. Unlike her brother, Nadia found a sensible match with Evan Rosier, a pureblood two years older than her. While she does not love him, she considers him a close friend. He buys her lots of things and treats her well. She’s happy with him.

Without a doubt, Nadia is a pureblood supremacist. She believes that Voldemort and his followers have the right idea. Her husband has not told her that he is a Death Eater, but she has suspicions that he is one.

She’s a housewife because she claims that she “isn’t cut out for real work.” In reality, she’s more than capable of working, but she would just rather lounge around the house and do nothing. Anyways, this gives Nadia time to do the one thing that she loves the most: gossip. Her favorite pastime is finding great little tidbits of gossip and spreading it everywhere.

Currently, Nadia is three months pregnant. She’s nervous about when the baby comes, but right now she’s content because she thinks it’s a valid excuse to whine.

I’m always up for plotting and scenes. I’d also love to make a few friends, acquaintances, gossip buddies, or enemies for Nadia.

Okay, now that I've commented everyone's intro, it's my turn! Hello, I'm Anna and I have... not done HP roleplay for about five years now. Be kind to me, please.

I've picked up Esther Jugson (nee Macmillan), who is a former Ravenclaw ['63-70], a pureblood and purist. She is sister to Kenneth Macmillan and rivals with Dorcas Meadowes. Esther is married to Neal Jugson, who is a marked DE (not known) and a Healer at St. Mungo's.

The woman is a pureblood socialite who enjoys spending her husband's money and living off of appearances - on everything that not her husband, because oddly enough, she actually loves him. Which is baffling if you know me, but whatever!

There are more details in her bio, but I would love to figure out some friends, foes, acquaintances, etc. She's currently pretty bare in connections. I have AIM, but the best way to reach me is likely commenting her bio post, so I will get the notification in my e-mail.

Hi, I'm Dawn. I played Draco the last time around but my real life kind of exploded and I totally failed. I still have about a week before I'll be as active as I like to be since this week is the make it or break it week in my new position. Okay, that was too much info but I feel bad and when I feel bad I ramble.

Anyway! This is Annalise Bones, Susan's mummy. Anna is at the exhausted stage of early motherhood so if she forgets something she's supposed to do or calls someone by the wrong name, please forgive her. She's 21. She grew up in a commune so she has all sorts of weird skills like butter making and she can make cheese (there are more but those two are the least gross she says). She's a former Hufflepuff which completely makes sense given where she grew up. She's married to Isaac, who she says is sometimes too stuffy for his own good but she loves him anyway. She's fairly sure she's couldn't not love him to be honest. Anna is also rather artistic (it comes from having a mum who's a poet and a dad who's a potter), her preferred medium is photgraphy and she's skilled with both a muggle and a magical camera. She also creates scrapbooks for everything and I don't mean the kind with ribbons and fancy paper that we see now, these are the old fashioned kind that literally have scraps of everything in them.

Hello! You might remember me as the Terry Boot Mun That Disappeared, Damn That Wench. However, I'm better known (depending) as Nathalie. For you who do not know or remember me, I am a college student (sorry I disappeared) with a double-major. And I recently turned ANCIENT when I turned 22. Geriatric.

So my newest pup. Is Isaac Bones. Former Ravenclaw. 23. Current Political Journalist at the DP. Youngest Bones child and son ... though I suspect there are moments he feels MUCH older and responsible and mature than Edgar. We don't have an Edgar (someone app him and I will love you like forever?) but I suspect this is true. Because Isaac is all kinds of practical and responsible and dedicated and hard-working and patient, and does not like to be BS'd. He is also terribly idealistic. Like it is sort of sad sometimes. He isn't naive exactly but he puts much faith in his gov't. In my little head canon, the Bones have been involved in the Ministry since it's conception. Probably helped launch it, working in the background-and the forefront-making it move along. They're proper and pureblood (or well, Isaac really can be a bit conservative with his propriety ... something he and Anna tend to but heads over)and progressive. Isaac takes these ties very seriously. Perhaps too seriously at times.

He's married. And is like Susan Bones daddy. And likely has manful-*coughs*-panic times that involve him going WTF!BABY!? Even though he adores her and likely thinks she's the SMARTEST child in the UNIVERSE! And yes, that is so not true and he knows it but he can't help think it at times. He's totes smitten, though he tries to be all ... meh, about it at times, with varying degrees of success. Isaac despite being a traditionalist in somethings IS very pro-Muggleborn. Married TO one. Kind of hard not to be. Especially when the woman is someone like Anna. Isaac. Thinks Anna is nuts. Thanks. He loves her though. Cannot stand her hippie loving family ... commune whatever. But he loves her.

Hi all! I figure I'm procrastinating on all the work I need to do anyway, I might as well write an intro! ;D Anyway, my name is Emma! I'm very excited for this new era of Stopgap! I have two kiddos Benjy Fenwick and Evan Rosier.

Benjy (fenwanker) is a former Gryffindor (1974) and an enthusiastic member of the Order of the Phoenix. He is very talented with Legilimency and as such found himself work as an Obliviator for the Ministry of Magic. His beloved mother is a Muggle, so he is very against all the pureblood world nonsense. Benjy is very English and has a particular fondness of Yorkshire Pudding. He's all about good old English charm and likes to think himself a very proper and polite gentleman. Benjy would no doubt jump at the chance to live in a Jane Austen novel for a day. He's very much a people-person and enjoys conversation, big words, and gossip. Benjy also partakes in what he considers to be the manly art of the knitting. His older sister creates knitting patterns for Witch Weekly, so there's usually advanced copies lying around his house which he swears he only looks at for the knitting patterns and sometimes the baking recipes. Benjy is very happy with his life at the moment. He and his girlfriend Dorcas Meadowes recently moved in together. He really ♥'s Dorcas, but her rejection to his three marriage propels makes him kind of sad, but he tries not to take it to heart and has realised that he may be trying to jump the gun too soon. He is happy to have her and her son Ryland under the same roof at any rate. Benjy is not official the father of Ryland, but he kind of likes to think himself adoptive father of sorts. His challenge is be knocked unconscious by Mulciber and Macnair, then be rescued by James Potter and then - die. :( So sad. Benjy just hopes he can go out in style.

Relationship-wise, Benjy is really not that difficult to get along with. He's fairly easy-going and likes to prattle on with just about anyone - whether they like it or not. I see him being mates with a good chunk of the Order and really anyone else around his age who does not mind his side-swept hair and fondness of knitting.

Evan (noblebirth) is a former Slytherin (also 1974) and is a marked Death Eater. Evan grew up the "golden child" of his parents and as a result, he has this constant need to live up to standards and expectations. At Hogwarts, he was quite studious for a Slytherin, but influenced by his mates became fascinated with the dark arts. Evan is very driven by power and wealth and although he would be quite comfortable without an income of his own, he does work in the Wizengamot Administration Services. He cannot say he likes his job, but he's holding out to become a member of the actual Wizengamot someday. Evan likes to keep his life far away from his Death Eater status. He is not an outspoken DE in the least bit, which may be irritating for some of his fellow DEs. Evan still does not really know how he feels about being a Death Eater. He really feels he got sucked into it because of his friends and of course his father. Evan was very close to his sister Alice Longbottom until her marriage, which meant being disowned from the family. Evan has always been deeply affected by this, though he'd never show it and has avoided her at all costs since. Her departure influenced his need to keep his toes in line when it comes to his family and to marry a pureblood witch. He's happy with Nadia, although he really does not know how to be a proper husband, so he shows his affections through material rather than heart. Nadia is pregnant, which kind of scares Evan more than any Death Eater business. He also has a horrid temper which can often led to violent ways. Overall, Evan is in this slowly turning vat and sooner or later the poor boy is going to get sucked in and completely lose it. His challenge is to be ambushed by the Prewett brothers and escape unscathed.

As a general rule, Evan does not wish to associate himself with "dirty" blood and so forth since it has been drilled in his brain since birth. The upper-crust sorts will know him since they all seem to run in similar social circles. Evan is related to a lot of the Blacks through his aunt Druella Black. His best mate is Jeremiah Wilkes and I see him being mates with most of the younger DE crowd.

Hi folks. I'm Dee and this is Ludo Bagman. He's basically your typical egotistical slightly-has-been sports celebrity, with a big grin and a thin veneer of selfish Slytherin cunning. In short, a bundle of laughs. No, really: Ludo presents as a cheerful, gung-ho lad who pretty much hasn't grown up at all since sixth year. Whatever he says officially about having left his irresponsible playing days behind him, the cheeky glint in his eye says (or is it promises?) otherwise.

He doesn't think he's all that. He knows.

He works for Games and Sports, which doesn't give him a lot of useful information to pass on to the Death Eaters through his friends and contacts, but hey, he does his best. Things I know: duelled Jugson in sixth year (but possibly thinks that was just Youthful Hi-Jinks and it's all cool now?); hangs with Macnair; hates That Bastard Greengrass (who stole his girl); and he's destined to discover he's an unwitting father.

Aaaah! Hello everyone! My name is Megan and it is currently...2:55 AM my time and I should very clearly be in bed right now, but clearly introducing myself and my characters is more important to me than sleep. Anyhow- like I said I'm Megan and I'm here for Stopgap Volume Two with Andromeda Tonks and Caradoc Dearborn!

Andromeda (middleblack) is the middle of the three Black sisters and was the one their mother put all of her hopes and effort into as she grew up. If your characters remember Andromeda from school she was very poised and had lovely conversation skills and associated mostly with other purebloods unless school assignments required otherwise. She was also engaged to Rolodphus Lestrange her seventh year, but after finding out he and her sister Bellatrix were seeing each other behind her back Andromeda snapped and completely left purist society. After that she lived with her best friend from school [Claire] McKinnon, worked in a bookshop, explored muggle London, met Ted Tonks and married him six months later. Nymphadora is seven and a full-time handful. Andromeda owns Cake and Crumb, a bakery in Diagon Alley and is pretty much in love with life in a way she never was while living with her family. Andromeda is very friendly and while she doesn't always love all of her acquaintances equally, unless you really bother her, you probably wouldn't know it.

Caradoc (dearborned) is beginning to think he's part Grimm. All of his family has either died or vanished and nothing seems to go right in his life for very long. His father died of cancer when he was thirteen, his sister was killed in a car accident when he was eighteen and his mother and older brother were casualties of a Death Eater attack two years ago. After his younger brother disappeared (Caradoc thinks he's in America) two weeks after their deaths, Caradoc was invited to join the Order of the Phoenix and has been volunteering for the most dangerous missions ever since. He tends bar at The Leaky Cauldron and is thinking about offering up his childhood home in Swansea as a Order safehouse, seeing how he lives in London and doesn't really see the need to keep two homes. He's currently dating Marlene McKinnon. Caradoc is blunt with a dark sense of humour and philosophical streak.

I have storyline entries up for both of my characters but they're pretty basic right now. I'd love to add to them! Let me know how your characters would interact with mine! I'm open for pretty much anything. :) All of my contact info is located HERE, and I'm online pretty much whenever my iPod can pick up a wifi signal even if I'm not at a proper computer so I'm around for plot and play!

Hi! For those of you continuing on to the new 1980 game (or the brand-new players!) I would love to discuss relationships between my characters and yours, as well as write backstory threads! (and present scenes too once the game starts, yay).

You're all a bit unhelpful. So, I've made the executive decision that we're just done with the 2003 stuff. Since...I kind of forgot I was on set all weekend I won't have the time to write stuff tonight for tomorrow. I have a 5am call time. BLEH! BUT yes! YAY 2003! It was fun! The characters were great! And I love you all for participating! Thanks for making volume 1 lots of fun!

That being said I'm PURGING the mod journal of all trio-era journals and adding all of the 1980 journals we have listed. Your trio-era journals will have access to the ooc community until Sunday night. Invites are still being withheld. BUT you can comment to the contact page and add journals and spy and whatnot. Also make sure to check your characters information and let me know if anythings....wrong. Haha.

For a short period any mod-posts (this one included) in oocstock...will be unlocked so that your 1980 journal will have access to watching the comm for updates. I know it seems silly. BUT, there's a reason I'm not going to get into.

Okay Folks! SO. In the FAQ's it says that the game would end on something monumental and fun. I, however, forgot about that.... so I don't have any specific plans for the end of the game event. Do you lot have any ideas perhaps? Ideally it'd be awesome if it were one last MASS THREAD sort of deal so everyone can play as they wish. However, it's not necessary. And if you guys don't want to do anything special that's cool too! Just let me know!

Also: The Mixtape thing should be done sometime before we do the switch. So lets shoot to have all the music in by February 26th!

QUICK! List some trio era surnames you'd like to see in the MWPP lists. There's so many trio era characters to pick from I'm going to make sure we have a speckling of lesser known trio-kid's parents available for play just for kicks. I've already got the surnames canonically linked to Voldie (ie. malfoy, goyle, crabbe, nott), the order (ie. potter, weasley, bones), and the ministry (ie. edgecombe). So, yes, shoot 'em my way!

Sorry I haven't been around these past two days. I got dumped by my boyfriend of two years, so I've been eating Ben & Jerry's and moping around. I'm better now! And I'll have replies up as soon as I can.

I didn't want to do this but it's becoming clear that I have to. RL is being it's sometimes ass kicking self and I'm going to have to put myself and Draco on hiatus for the next two-ish weeks. Might be a bit longer depending on what happens this next week at work. I may be starting a new position which means less time. Sorry!
