So, my great-aunt is arriving today for a visit, and then tomorrow we're leaving to head down to Houston to go to the museum and see Lucy. We'll be coming back Saturday night, and then my great-aunt is leaving on Sunday afternoon, I believe. So, since I hardly ever get to see her, I will be elsewise occupied this weekend. I'll probably hop online at night once everyone else is in bed (except, obviously, Friday night), but otherwise I won't be around.

So...I was thinking...
If Harry is a fifth year Gryffindor...and the Marauders are fifth year Gryffindors...wouldn't that mean they're in the same dorm room?
So now that James is "back," shouldn't something of 'Huh, look at the resemblance' or at least a big introduction sort of thread go on?
Correct me if I'm wrong of course! Just thinking aloud over here.

OK, everyone. As I mentioned yesterday, we were going to do some reshuffling of the penpals who hadn't started writing yet, in order to include our new players. That has been done now, and the new assignments should be in your PM inbox (but PM the mods if you haven't received a new assignment and think you should have). Since Latara wanted to know before, there are now 26 students participating (13 pairs).
Just to make things a little more interesting ... we're going to say that there was one person whose original penpal had a death in the family and had to leave school, so this person was re-assigned another penpal. Unfortunately, at that point, the only person left was a member of the same House. *evil grin* And that's all we're gonna say about that. Once again, let us know if you have any questions. :-)

Just a heads-up, y'all. Our house went on the market last night, so we could have as little as an hour's notice before someone comes to check out the house. This means that I could very well suddenly disappear, because when we get the hour's notice phone call, we need to spend that time running around, frantically putting clutter away, then vacating until they're done casing the joint checking the house out. On top of that, there's the stress from all of this, so I'll be distracted and such until, well ... for a while. I'm not hiatusing, because I need the distraction of RP, but I'm just warning y'all that I might disappear suddenly for a few hours or take a while to respond to a tag.
Please keep your fingers crossed that our house sells quickly.

1) We are in the process of reshuffling some of our penpal pairings (the ones who hadn't started writing yet), so that we can include new people.
2) Does anybody know how to do overrides to change talks links in an S2 style that doesn't have customizable text -- as in, the CSS overrides? I know HTML backwards, forwards, and sideways, but CSS is beyond me. *blushes*

Aack! Sorry that Alice and I have been not-around this week. Three of my games just moved to IJ, and with moving my own things and helping others move their things, I've been swamped. Plus, family stuff has got me distracted. But I will try to be more active now! Sorry!

Oh, god, I hope I'm doing this right. I'm horrible at introductions, really. The thing is, in real life, I make my friends do it. That's how bad I am.
Anyways, I'm Lacy, and someone posted an ad on my playersresource bio or I found it in an RPG search (I'm horrible, I can't remember), and they said they were pimping it because they needed a Ron. So, here he is.
Yeah, I'm the furthest thing from Ron Weasley. One, I'm a girl. Two, I can feel more than three emotions at a time. But still, hopefully, I can do him right. I used to attempt to play guys, and they were either really girly or really "sensitive". I finally decided to play a cheater, and I think that's when I got in to the mindframe of a guy. Um, not that I think all guys are cheaters. I thought it would be fun to play a cheater, and that's how I started thinking like that.
Whoever plays Hermione has to tell me if she's H/Hr or R/Hr, otherwise I will be cluelessly.. clueless.

And one more apology for disappearing. Everything was totally dead before Christmas, so I didn't check in too much over the holidays, and once I did I'd missed so much that I'm just now catching up with the re-reading.
Part of the reason that I got myself off track is that I don't think I have my notifications set up right? Or else they don't work as well here? Does anyone know if there's a way to "subscribe" to different threads to make sure you get updates when people comment?
I missed a ton of stuff in the hosptial wing cause I thought I'd get notifications when people commented in that thread :(
edit: I tried the little pushpin "track" button, but it doesn't seem to be saving my subscriptions?
