General Rules. Follow, obey, and we'll all get along swimmingly.
Out of Character - You may discuss threads you wish to start or threads that are in progress on the ooc community
- Do not use the '! ooc' tag unless given permission from a mod
RPing - Always follow the basic set-up (Who, when, where, status) when creating a RP post. And always update the thread status to completed when it's wrapped up. You will use the '! ip' tag while a thread is in progress. When a thread is complete, replace it with a '! rp' tag.
- Respect other players. We don't want drama here. On that note, communication is key. We have contact info listed for a reason, and we want everyone to talk and plot together. We shouldn't have an in-group and an out-group of players -- everyone should play with everyone else.
- Before introducing something that will severely affect a plot that is already in the works, talk to either the player running the plot, or one of the mods.
- Similarly, if you wish to introduce something that will drastically affect a thread in progress, make sure all players involve know and agree to the intrusion.
- No playing god. You play your own character and no one else's.
Activity - If you're missing for two weeks without an explanation, we'll hold your characters for you an additional week after that before making them available again. We're not going to kick you out without good reason, though. So don't worry. If you're playing an original character, we'll wait a bit longer to get annoyed than we do with canons.
- Before committing to any important roles in the plot, make sure you have the time. If you aren't active, we can and will write you out.
Character Limit - You may start out with three characters. If you can prove that you can stay active and RP with all of them, the limit goes away. The exact break-down of proven activity is like this: after the first week, the character limit goes up to four. The second week and it goes up to five. The third week the limit is lifted entirely.
