CHARACTERS: Rachel Black and Bella Swan (possibly Edward if he is around for some reason?)
OPEN OR CLOSED? Openish?
LOCATION: First Charlie's, second the city
ABOUT? Rachel wants to actually talk to Bella in person, and find out why she broke her brothers heart.
RATING: Probably PG or PG-13?

Rachel Black wanted to see Bella Swan herself without her brother around, without anyone. She wasn't sure if she would be able to be calm around her the whole time, she was just angry that anyone would willingly hurt Jacob like that. Jacob, the loving friendly boy that was probably the best little brother in the world. Of course she didn't have any other little brothers, but he was just too sweet to be in as much pain as he was in.

She pulled up to Charlie Swan's house in her black bug with a few minutes to spare. Rachel tended to just get places early. Plus she didn't know if Edward was going to be there or not. She was sort of curious about him, to see what he looked like. She wasn't comfortable with everything she'd learned in the past day or so, but she was slowly getting used to it. She talked to her father about it more and more... He didn't seem to think she'd be able to avoid becoming a werewolf. Rachel figured she should see Bella before she became a werewolf. After all she really didn't know Bella's side of it all. At least that was what she kept telling herself to keep herself calm.

Rachel looked down at the little digital clock she taped onto the dashboard 12:59. It was close enough. Opening the door she pushed a strand of black hair behind her left ear. A pink Kappa Kappa Gamma t-shirt under an ocean blue rain jacket and a pair of dark jeans. Rachel made her way to the front door. Knocking she waited. Hoping Bella would actually show and wouldn't ditch her. Although part of her wouldn't blame Bella if she did that. It couldn't be a good feeling going somewhere with Jacob's older sister.

It really wasn't as if Bella had meant to hurt him, and quite frankly? She was getting rather annoyed by people thinking that she had made a careless decision, or had done this to purposely hurt Jacob. But she couldn't not follow her heart just because people think she needs to be with someone else. She needed to be true to herself, and not be forced into something she knew deep down wasn't right.

She pulled on a sweatshirt over a normal black tee shirt, and over just the top of her dark-denim washed jeans. She had told Edward she was going out with Rachel, of course. Which probably meant he'd be lurking nearby or something, but that very thought was quite comforting to her, to be honest.

Letting her dark locks fall around her shoulders, she heard the knock and darted down the stairs, nearly tripping and falling (as per usual for Bella Swan) on her way down. Catching herself on the railing, she shoved a cell phone into her pocket for good measure - apparently she shouldn't be out by herself without Edward without having a cell. Besides, Charlie thought it would be a good idea, even though she had no idea how to really work the thing.

She nearly skidded into the door, but opened it instead, and smiled up at Rachel. "Hey. It's been awhile, hasn't it?"

"Yea. It has been. How you been lately?" Rachel asked with one very friendly smile. Rachel was really happy to see Bella just for the pure point of seeing what she was like now. She just remembered an awkward girl that seemed to never be able to walk without tripping or something like that.

Rachel headed to her car getting in waiting for Bella. She tossed her purse from the front seat into the back before smiling at Bella. "So how's your Dad doing?" Rachel wasn't going to start with hard questions or trying to get stuff out of Bella she was going to start with very easy things. Really easy thoughts and conversations.

Once Bella was safely in her car she started it up heading out. "So anywhere good we should go?" She asked after a moment thinking about it. God she really hadn't been around in a really long time. All the small new things seemed a lot bigger and crazy.

Bella smiled, grateful that she hadn't yet begun to interrogate her like a prisoner in a jail cell that had committed a God awful crime. "I'm.. well," she smiled, able to be truthful. She was happy with her life with Edward, after all.

Bella slipped into the passenger's seat, and locked herself in with the seatbelt. "Charlie is.. well, Charlie," she smiled weakly. "Oblivious to everything, as always."

Pausing, she nodded up the street. "There's this cafe up in town - I went there once with-" she stopped, nearly saying Edward, but quickly substituted a name, "-Angela. Her and Ben go there a lot."

Rachel would do her best not to sound too crazy and angry when finally getting around to the questions that she really wanted answered. Rachel really did want to hear it from Bella's side. Because she'd only heard her fathers and brothers... Those were of course harsh on Bella.

"Cool. Just tell me where to go." she said with a friendly smile. Rachel figured if she treated Bella like she would one of her friends from school that did something she didn't like things would work out a little better.

"So I hear you got a motorcycle." She said before laughing slightly. "I can't imagine you dad was happy about that." It was light and friendly and sort of amusing. Picturing Bella on Motorcycle and Charlie's face was really amusing.

Bella did have another side to the story - but it would be the exact same, just from a different perspective. A female perspective, nothing that any of those boys would even begin to understand, of course.

Bella directed her at turns and such when they came up, vaguely remembering where the place was, and hoping that this was the correct way.

"Uh.. yeah. Charlie didn't know about it until Jacob ratted me out," she sighed, rolling her eyes. "He was trying to get me grounded, which? It worked. It got me on house arrest since I was already grounded."

"He told on you?" She said laughing shaking her head. "Remind me to hit him over the head for that one." She said laughing with a shrug.

"So tell me, why were you grounded in the first place?" She said simply with a curious look as she headed towards town. She was a safe driver, but a fast driver. She liked speed. It must be something she picked up from school. She wasn't sure, she didn't worry about it.

Rachel was completely puzzled as to why she actually wanted to hear Bella's side, and not just for her brother, but for her. It was only fair to hear her side. Plus Bella wasn't all bad right?

"Yeah," she smiled, rolling her eyes a little. "He brought the bike to my house, and Charlie nearly turned purple - I was on house arrest for awhile for that."

Bella smiled grimly, and shook her head. She knew that this would come up - it was only a matter of time. At least she had more tact than her brother. "I went to Italy," she replied all too simply. But without needing further coaxing since she knew it would just make her ask more questions, she continued.

"I'll.. just start from the beginning," she said quietly, hoping that if Edward was around, he'd tune out so he wouldn't have to deal with the pain again - even if she had to relive it now. She gritted her teeth for a moment before staring at her knees and beginning her explanation.

"Edward.. had left Forks, left me," she swallowed roughly at this. "He told me it was because he didn't.. love me anymore, and I was a mess for.. months. Jacob helped me out of it, but I got reckless. Because I knew that anytime I was about to do something really stupid, I could hear Edward's voice telling me not to and being angry with me. And hearing him, even being angry, was enough to make me just a little bit happier. So.. one day I decided to go cliff-diving without Jacob, and.. I would have drowned if he hadn't gotten me out of the water. But Alice thought I had died si-" she caught herself quickly, not wanting to get into vampire talk - she had no idea if Rachel knew about any of it or not, after all.

"-His other sister, Rosalie, told him I had died.. And he was going to Italy to kill himself. Alice came to my house to tell me, and we left for Italy before he had the chance to do anything too stupid.. He only left because he wanted to protect me," she finished quietly, voice quavering just the slightest, though she managed to hold the tears back at remembering the painful memories.

"Yup, hitting him really hard. Or just finding something else to torture him with. Who does that? Who actually turns someone in like that. I know life has been hard for him, but that's just silly." Rachel said rolling her eyes.

"Italy." Rachel said before she told her she'd tell her the story. As she listened she just sort of wasn't sure how to react. Of course she knew about the Vampires and everything, between her father and brother she knew everything. Well everything from that side.

"Wait. So Alice is the one that sees things but can't see anything around the pack right?" She asked thinking about it for a moment. It was sort of a lot to get her head around, but she was better with it now that she'd talked to her father about it more. "So Rosalie told him you'd die. She sounds really sweet." The comment was sarcastic and clearly didn't approve of that one. Actually Rachel didn't approve of anyone, but seriously? Telling someone that someone you loved was dead with out knowing for sure was just bitchy, rude, and completely out of line.

"At least it worked out in the end right?" She said with a half smile, it was really weird to hear it from Bella's side, even though she was still angry that she broke her brothers heart.
