Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Current mood: sick

WHO: Grant and Sam
WHAT: Grant looks pathetic, and Sam brings groceries!
WHEN: Tuesday, early evening
WHERE: Grant's apartment.

To say that Grant felt rough was an understatement. He felt like he had been hit by a mac truck, though he was really really thirsty. Unfortunately he could barely keep any kind of anything down, liquid or solid. He'd had enough now. He was buried underneath a blanket on his couch, shivering and sweating in turns. His apartment was a bit of a mess but he couldn't gather enough motivation to clesn it even though he knew Sam was coming around. It would definitely be nice to see her, he hadn't since they'd walked their dogs together, and she was very nice to be with. He enjoyed spending time with her though he didn't want to get her sick either.

Sam had always been a bit of a mom. She had four younger siblings, and it was the way she was wired. She found that she worried about her friends more than she needed to and wanted to help them when she could. Grant was a very nice guy, and she felt bad that he was all alone. It wasn't like she was working or anything. She knew that the least she could do was help him out. After a quick stop at the grocery store, where she picked up some soup, ginger ale, and crackers, Sam headed over to Grant's apartment and buzzed up. She had never been there before, and she hoped that he was well enough to at least buzz her in.

As the buzz filled his apartment Grant smiled. It would be nice to see someone and for that he was glad. Heaving himself up from the couch, he walked over to to let her in. It was a bit slow going but he got there in the end. He was sweating a little more than usual at the effort but this was quickly replaced by another bout of shivering. Yeah, he felt like death warmed up, but he wasn't going to let it spoil his time with his friend. He stayed at the door so he didn't have to heave himself off the couch again, though to be fair he was swaying a little.

She waited patiently, knowing that someone sick would not be able to move all that quickly. Sam actually felt bad that she had to get buzzed in. It would be a lot easier for him if she could just let herself in, but c'est la vie, and before long, she was buzzed in. Balancing her packages in her hands, Sam ascended the stairs, found her way to Grant's apartment, and knocked on the door. "Are you okay in there?" she called. hating to inconvenience him. "I can let myself in if you want. If it's okay with you, I mean."
