Does anyone have any growing suggestions for Preya's climate. Perhaps, something capable of being grown in a container.

Alternatively, does anyone have a suggestion for some food which seems to be Preyan exclusive? Or even just something that was not readily available in your home world which is now a regular in your diet?

Greetings, Preya. I am Captain Spock - I appear to have been displaced from my original timeline, as have many others according to my research of recent posts on this network. At the time of displacement, we had crew members with us that I am sure myself and Captain Kirk would both be appreciative to find if they happen to show up - failing that, information about our surroundings would be much appreciated.

I also understand that I am not the only Spock currently here. An interesting conundrum, but not the most concerning matter at hand.

Definitely didn't miss blizzards in space, amongst other things.

I bought a shitton of blankets, heat packs and food supplies if anybody doesn't have the money for them.

Well hello everyone, I'm Captain Jim Kirk - Jim will do - and have just arrived. I hadn't quite realised this was a one way trip though when I accepted it but that's what they said at the Welcome Centre so... I guess I'm here to stay. Though I'm sure someone will come up with a way to send us home.

Who else is looking forward to the Everdale Summer Faire this weekend? I'll be entering the baking contest, but I'm also eager to see the swordsmanship contest. I'll be bringing my camera if any one wants pictures taken of the events or just of themselves all dressed up let me know.

Look, I understand keyboards. I understand touch screens. I understand switches, I understand voice recognition. I don't understand why every computer terminal on this planet requires a remote control for opening the little boxes where the files are.

In all my time here, I've never met one person that questioned about how or what changes happened as a result of their arrival here. Not once was there a question about things of their life, people they knew. Everyone seems to merely accept things as that, and not question. The fault of humanity, perhaps, questioning the things that neededn't be questioned, and not questioning what one should.

It is only now, that those questions are starting, more than mere whispers of a concerned few, but a problem faced by the populace at large.

Why are people similarly disappearing here from Preya, and where do they go?

Are these merely random acts, something that happens without any pattern or reason, or is there perhaps a greater meaning behind them. Is Preya meant to have a balance, and as more people arrive, others must be sent away? Where do these people go, if such is the case? Do they go anywhere, or merely held in some limbo, waiting oto be returned as others disappear?

[Because someone is getting used to phones, here comes that dreaded inadvertent posting. A feed of a dark haired half-elf shows, her brow furrowed as she slides her fingers across the screen. She's jostled by something off screen, and the phone tumbles out of her hands. Over the sound of plastic hitting floor, her voice rings clear:]

Shit! Shit! Shit!

[The phone comes to a stop and the black snout of something brown furred creeps across the corner of the phone. The woman's voice rings in warning:]

Trinket...

[Trinket, however, does not heed the warning, and the screen goes black with the sound of plastic jostling about for several long moments before bright light breaks through. The phone has been thrown and skids to a stop, the screen wet. From its place on the floor, it give a perfect shot of the woman crouching down and giving an incredibly large armored bear a good scratching and petting on his scruff.]

Awww, buddyyyy, I've told you. You can't just keep putting these things in your mouth. [She continues to make cooing noises at the creature while he gives her low, but happy, growls in return. He practically looks like he's smiling. Finally, she reaches for the phone and, with a very obvious grimace at the wet state of things, runs her fingers over the screen and the feed stops.]
