I mentioned doing something with this before and now that I've gathered the supplies to make the cards and the outfits for those helping with the deliveries, I wanted to put it out here again that if you'd like a Valentine or candygram delivered, I'll be taking orders to have them delivered for Valentine's Day. You can be named or remain anonymous, it's up to you! Not limited to the Abacus Institute, so everyone go ahead and let me know here if you'd like one! For personalized Valentines with no candy we'll be asking $3 and ones with candy $5. Proceeds will be going into clubs and activities at the Institute.

If one of our local sweet shops would like to partner up with us on this, it could be a great advertising opportunity!

Can't believe I'm getting rather good at nonverbal spells. Course I've only conjured up birds and changed the color of my eyebrows nonverbally. And the latter might not even be considered as an actual feat seeing as I how I can do that already and change my appearance at will. Potions, on the other hand, I'm dreadful at. I'm having loads of trouble with Golpalott's Third Law. It's called something else here, synergy or something like that, but it's inherently the same concept. I have heard it being mentioned before in other texts, but I'm finally getting in the thick of it and it's driving me mad. Guess I'll just have to study until my brain explodes. Or if anyone's got any good advice out there, I'm all ears.

Literally.... I can transform into two whole ears if necessary, though I suspect it might look odd.

I know we just had a ton of holiday parties and stuff, but does anyone think we should arrange something for Valentine's Day? It's a bigger deal in some places than it is others, it was just a thought I had. We don't have to do a party, we could do something smaller like Valentine's deliveries or candy-grams. I find this country and it's peculiarities as unsettling as I do intriguing. Though I was certain I departed in summer, I arrive in winter. Arguably a matter of geography. Less readily explained is finding myself in another time entirely, filled with technological advances beyond common imaginations of my time. I find it all so curious. A land so deeply laced with magic, yet the community stands united rather than divided. Quite nearly a vision of my own design if not for the incredibly devastating flaws. Well, I've been here a few weeks and I have to say I do see the appeal here. There's an idyllic peacefulness here that I certainly wouldn't find where I came from.
