My dearest Aunt Cassiopeia has insisted on hosting a celebration, of which I have deemed small and intimate, in honor of my accomplishments at the school. I realize it is the holiday season and that there are many events and activities being had all at once, but I would be most grateful if you would be in attendance. Perhaps a brunch on Saturday or hor d'oeuvres and brandy in the evening. I'll leave the particulars up to you, Aunt Cassi.

Lucius and Narcissa, you are more than welcome to bring baby Belladora. Andromeda, should your daughter like to be in attendance as well, she would be most welcomed among us.

Additionally, my Aunt is hosting yet another party on January 6th for the Twelfth Night. It's an open invitation, and I was wondering if you would like to attend with me.

First of all, Loki is fine. He's at my place and he's resting.

Second, yes, Loki was dead. I revived him. I can bring back the dead.

Third, do not engage in fighting with her. Fighting without a combat medic around is stupid. I don't know about the others, but I do have some equipment to help with healing. If you want to use them, contact me.

Fourth, if she does kill you or hurts you, I'll be there. My valkyrie suit was designed to get to people swiftly on the battle field and my staff emits a medicated healing beam. I can revive anyone, but please try not to die (or at least too often). And if you need me there to help you, please don't get me involved in the crossfire. My body repairs itself but bullets and such still hurt. And some of them can be a pain to get out.

Hello, my name is Henry Winchester. I've recently arrived here and was wondering if anyone would kindly point me in the direction of a skilled tailor? It seems some of my clothing did not quite survive what brought me here, and I would be interested in knowing if it could be salvaged in some way. How can people bask in the red and pink polluting the streets when all of our loved ones go missing? With no explanation.

My wife is gone and no explanation whatsoever was given. An offering of holiday cheer to blind us from the mysterious departures that occur on a regular basis... The holiday season is long gone and I wonder what other glimmering gift they will hope to use as a distraction?

It will not quite make up for the fact that there is no Quidditch here, but it's something to do.

I've seen snow. I've done snow before, lots of it. I've nearly frozen in the snow. I've traveled for hundreds of miles through Antarctica, completely naked. Cold can be a powerful, dangerous, wonderful thing.

For some reason, even though I felt I was finished with the snow, it's beautiful here. I don't know why I am at peace. I keep going over Frost's poem in my mind;

According to the weather, the snow is out to get us, which might just happen before we're all forced to submit to a bird with bad fashion taste.

I know you're all pleased that it is over, but I wanted to say that most of you weren't bad as children. It was nice to have friends decent people my own age here for a while.

Not that I wish my friends from home were here. They'd probably hate it, or be killed by motor-cars.

I would like some advice about whether or not I am being unreasonable.

If a little girl is very poorly-behaved and you send her to stand in the corner, and then she sobs and makes a tremendous fuss, is it because you are being a 'beastly mean ghost' unkind and too harsh?

My father would have done much worse if I'd disobeyed him at that age, but then I'm a boy so it's different, and I've been told that that parents of the future are much less strict than in the 1840s, when I'm from. She's family. I don't want to be cruel to her. But there is only so much patience a fellow can have.

Anyone got any news on this? Council? Jo? We expecting this to last?

I know that a lot of people would rather be at home. That's quite understandable, and I agree with you, but it's horrid missing home and feeling miserable all the time.

I'm Arcturus Black, and I'm a wizard from Britain. If you're fourteen or younger, this is your official invitation to join me for a day of adventure tomorrow. Exploring the woods looking for creatures, going boating, having a snow war, and other such things. You can have lunch at mine if you like. The elves'll make it, and we'll have a proper feast.

No girls who are going to cry and make a fuss if they're hit by a snowball, or who might be scared of creatures. Sensible girls can join us. No infants.
