Austin nodded when she said there was a place that had to have some. "Yeah. There's a coffee shop here a few blocks that way." He pointed in the direction. "It's called Here Comes the Sun. A Beatles reference if there ever was one." He liked the Beatles. Knew most of their songs because of his dad, but he wasn't like their number one fan or anything either. At her admission that she didn't often have guys pinning her down, he found himself both raising his brows and wondering why not? Not that he would just pin her down at the first chance he got, but she was definitely pretty so he didn't see how she didn't have a boyfriend or someone to pin her down. When she wanted it of course.
It was moments like these that Austin was greatful for his best friend. If he had never met Alex and some of the older guy hadn't rubbed off on him, Austin probably would have said all of that out loud and got slapped or something for his efforts. As it was, the girl he'd floored--litterally--was shaking his hand and looking him over and he was definitely feeling self conscious. She finally brought her attention back to the moment at hand, tugging back his hand as he blushed lightly.
She introduced herself in turn and he made a mental note of her name and added it to her face in his mind.
"Friday, yesterday or Friday last week?" He asked, curious. He nodded about the brother comment. "I've got a cousin here. You might actually know him because he's in a band that's apparently not doing to bad for itself. I haven't really listened much but from what I've heard, they aren't bad. Anyway, should we go?"
