Asher had been having a good time tonight. A REALLY good time. How could he not? He'd been out with a couple of mad fit girls and their friends. Riley hasn't been lying when she said she could show her s good time. They'd scored some really good stuff, hit a few parties. At some point they'd even given him the grand tour of Luna Bay. It. Was. Brilliant. If Asher had to be shipped off somewhere again - and to America of all places - he thought Luna Bay might just be all right.
It was four in the morning and Asher and his new friend had been making some "improvements" to a park bench when the cops had shown up. That was rubbish timing, but it wasn't like it was the first time Aaher had been busted doing something he shouldn't. Or that he'd been under the influence at the time. He just kind of shrugged his way through it and now that his sister was shouting at him about it, he still shrugged.
"It wasn't a big deal, we were just having a laugh." Honestly, Asher didn't believe Tabitha cared anything about what happened to him. She'd up and left him 11 years ago and as far as he knew, she'd never looked back. She certainly hasn't bothered to call or wrote. Not so much as a birthday card in all that time. As far as he was concerned, she was just cross at being pulled out of bed to come get him. He wasn't fussed about that. It wasn't like she could really do anything to him, anyway.
