Cassie breathed a sign of relief as she followed him into his room. If he'd refused to talk to her, she didn't know what she would have done. As it was, she still didn't know how she was going to make things right, but she knew she couldn't just leave things the way they were.
"I don't know," she answered. Her arms were wrapped around her middle and she bit her lip as she looked down, trying to collect herself. In that moment, Cassie honestly couldn't remember why telling him had seemed like such a bad idea before. It seemed stupid now. "I guess I- didn't know what to say. We're not- I mean we haven't actually talked about-" Everything she tried to say just sounded stupid when she said it out loud.
"I don't know what I'm doing with him, Chris," she said finally. "I guess I thought if I didn't talk about it, I wouldn't have to- figure it out. It could just be whatever it was without me having to analyze it."
