Summary: Let the Founder's Day Celebration begin!

Jed finished adjusting his suspenders as he took the stage in the middle of the town square. Founder's Day was always a fantastic celebration -- second only to the Fourth of July celebration held every year. You celebrate your God, your country, and your town -- which meant that Founder's Day had to be given special notice.

"Welcome everyone," he called out, pulling their attention up to the stage. "I want to welcome you to our Founder's Day celebration. Today we get together and honor those of us who formed Shelby out of this dust and rock, and especially honor those who came back, reforming New Shelby from the destruction before. Now I don't know about you, but I think that this fine town returning from being a ghost town is up for celebration. We want to thank the Heel Kicker for providing drinks and opening their doors this afternoon, I know a couple of ladies from the church have baked a plethora of goods for us to sample and enjoy -- Ms. Donovan, I'm looking at you right now -- and a whole lot of games and prizes to be won. Everyone have a good time, and if my daughter comes around, make sure to give her a good quote," he chuckled. "Have a great time, everyone."

With a wave, he hopped off of the stage.
