The Old West --- Out of Character

Okay, so I guess I should probably do this up, huh? So as some of you already know, I've got a new job, and it's a good one, but there are five weeks of training classes and two weeks of transition before I actually start work on my own. He training classes start on Monday at 7 AM. They're Monday-Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, which basically…from 6:30 AM to about 4 PM, I am not going to be around much. I do get breaks, and I get a lunch, so I can check stuff from my phone, and maybe the computer if that's allowed. Oh and it's paid training too, yay!

Anyway, the reason I'm writing this is now that I have a fulltime job, I won't be around as often. I'm not taking a hiatus or anything, but I just want people to be aware I'll probably be a bit scarce at least until I get settled into this job.

Thought I'd jump in before I get too distracted and forget all about it before it's too late...

I am going on holiday from work next week for a week. So from Wed 8th Oct to Wed 15th Oct I might not be online as much. I doubt I'll miss much from this comm but if you want to discuss anything you have until Tues next week...well, for most of you that will be Monday...right? It's usually my day the rest of you's night?

Hello there! My name is Sara, and I am new around here. ^^' So I do hope y'all don't bite. I'm 21, I'm from PA (which means I'm on Eastern Standard Time, hence its relevance,) I've been RPing since before I knew how to do long division (...seriously. I am THAT NERDY,) and...I really have nothing else to say about myself.

Instead I'll introduce you to Jennie here. She is New Shelby's newest whore, yaaaaay! She's nineteen and comes from Topeka, where her mother, stepfather, and three little half-siblings still live, although she hasn't seen them in three years- at sixteen she got sick of her poisonous family life and took off; her mom's a bitter lady who got seduced and impregnated out of wedlock by Jennie's father, who subsequently continued on west without so much as a good bye, effectively ruining her life. Jennie's mama has never forgiven her for this. Nor has she forgiven Jennie's stepfather for marrying her to 'rescue her' from her fallen woman status. Blah blah blah, long story short, Jennie's home life was not fun for anyone involved but least of all for her. The reason she went west and not east has to do with her long lost father, though she'd certainly never admit that and isn't even fully aware of it herself.

Basically she's your classic hooker with a heart of gold, except that it's not so much gold as maybe pyrite. Or some other glittery rock. The point is that it's shiny! She's fiesty, reckless, and uncompromisingly honest; flaws being that she's fiest, reckless, and uncompromisingly honest.

Hey all; I know this community has been quiet lately, but I was wondering if anybody here already would be interested in taking up Helene's twin brother, Davey? Not only will they have Helene to interact with, but there's also Theo...wouldn't mind more Ellwood siblings around! Cheers.

As it looks like the Dax, Cole, Donnie scene is done, or pretty near to it, I think we can try and get this little SL wrapped up. I'm going to throw up a scene that'll be open to Donnie and who ever else would be with him. Maybe Doni can toss a scene thingy up as well as I believe Nate and his posse will be the ones to find her and two of the outlaws at their temp camp.

Hey guys!

Tomorrow I embark on a new journey with my new job!
Eep! But I'm verrrrrry, very excited!

For those of you who are used to getting tags from me during the day-- I wanted to thank you for keeping me sane my last year working at the job from hell.. But I don't know, yet, whether or not I will be able to do that at my new job! If not-- it has been fun!
And I won't be able to tag you until the afternoons, evenings, and nights!

Also.. This job is much, much, much further away than the one I had, which leaves me with the unfortunate decision of going to bed earlier as well. My old job was about 5 minutes from my house-- and I could trudge in late whenever I wanted and no one would know the difference. However-- my new job is about 45 minutes from my home... and I have to be there at 10 AM, sharp! At least it's not that early.. but I still have to be up at 8.. to leave by 9.. to get there at a decent time.

Anyway. Enough of my rambling! I just wanted to let you all know what's up! I'll tag you when I can! And definitely when I get home in the evenings!

I am so sorry! I know it's been about a week...if not a full week since I last replied to my threads. I promise to get to them tomorrow!

Just so everyone knows I will be a bit slower. I was doing so well for a while there, at least I thought. I've just started an online class, working toward my BS again, so I really want to apologize for my slacking!
